Scout Frags - Novint Falcon

I have to wait a couple more weeks for this cool controller to come back in stock at Novint. Either I wait and buy one or buy a 580gtx. The gpu will give me better looking and running games but it won't improve my aiming. I hate waiting this long! :(

Bah. You've obviously not talked to many Falcon users. There are a lot of us, myself included, who were highly proficient with the mouse.

I think a misconception you might have is that Novint is claiming that the Falcon automatically turns you into a godlike player.

What it does do, is make good players better. I only have 55 hours of playtime as Scout, and when this was made, it was probably about 40 hours. I think for not playing the class much, I can play the class pretty well. I never did this well with the mouse, at least.

Personally, I think the Falcon raises your person skill ceiling, but hey, to each his own.

You seem good, but I get the feeling that the other team, at least in this video, isn't that great. Not knocking anyone though, just a thought.

You couldn't be farther from the truth. The other people are all Falcon users, and they're all very skilled.

Trust me on this one, I had to work for each and every kill.

i watched the pistol grip presentation video and i´m not quite sure for how u can keep your hand/arm move like that - i´m kinda used to resting my hands on the mouse/keyboard; watching the video it looks tiresome to have one hand move without a resting spot

1. Nice music.

2. Nice gameplay. All the gameplay vids of the Novint Falcon have a minimum of skill consistently above the marksmanship I witness in noobs who use the mouse. This goes to show something. Now, I just need to figure out how to get a good mix of short-scale and large-scale sensitivity from my DeathAdder.

What's stopping you? Money? If so, you could always use a referral code to get 20% off.

Honestly, its worth the money. For me, it was an impulse buy, and after ordering I was worried that I wasted my money.

I haven't played TF2, or any Falcon compatible game for that matter, with my mouse since.
