I cant help but think that U2 has eclipsed yet another icon from their shared era -Elvis Costello- so badly that even he must now pay tribute to them. What happens when an artist is consumed by someone elses art? It is like U2 eats other musicians efforts and talents, spitting them out afterwards, and growing stronger from the energy they have stolen.
