  • You forgot the last 30 seconds of The Primer! BEST BREAKDOWN OF THE YEAR.

  • BTBAM has come so far frmo their self titled and Silent Circus.

  • best BTBAM breakdowns? should have just posted their entire discography

  • Decade of statues breakdown is my ringtone. Obscene.

  • 3:58

  • what is the intro song?

  • @dsan224 mordecai my friend

  • @martyfischetti actually its "reaction"

  • @dsan224 my apologies haha

i thought you meant the first breakdown

    calm down

  • @martyfischetti haha kk no problem

  • KEEP WRITING, KEEP DREAMING!

  • I really do not see the point in not adding the breakdown that comes after WHIIIIIITE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLS. Long notes on every instrument and the very beginning of the solo (and at the same time a breakdown).

  • I'll be listening to BTBAM and the song keeps building up and building up and building up and then it goes quiet with one guitar leading into the breakdown. Chills run down my body and then it drops...

    WHITE WAAAALLLLLLS!!!!

    Fuck man....

  • the breakdowns in White Walls and Autodidact are my 2 favorite breakdowns of all time. fuck yeah

  • Aw jeah! It's da breakdown!

  • Dan on the bass ads so much depth to their breakdowns cause he never plays exactly what the guitar does

  • you missed what i think is the best... at 4:50 in the song "fire for a dry mouth" that shit is ridiculous.

  • damn....that break down in foam born is so damn original (and fun to play)

Colors is so fucking good. i cant wait for the Colors anniversary tour :D!!!!

  • White Walls is my most favorite breakdown ever....fuck deathcore breakdowns or beatdown breakdowns (although i love them) White Walls is the greatest

  • BTBAM makes to Iron Maiden, Metallica and Megadeth sound like pussies!!!

  • wheres the one in swim to the moon?? wen he says " look into the picture" towards the end. that ones great, but nice vid

  • @bklyn977 this vid was made before tgm came out lol

  • I have to agree with everyone here Decade of Statues has one of the few breakdowns I can really get into.

  • autodidact made my face melt

  • alaska has one of the sickest breakdowns because theres two. if you were to have continued on you could see that theres a break down in a lower key adding more depth. also everything else rocked but i dont like btbams first album but everything else i love eternally and forever. kinda weird

  • 4:19 Autodidact <3

  • More of Myself To Kill is a SUCH a good breakdown, I'm glad it's in the video. Along with Shevanel. But come on, no Lost Perfection?

  • in More of Myself to kill he sounds kinda like Corpse Grinder

  • lets kill them AAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. god damn chills.

  • Where was the Lost Perfection A breakdown? D:

  • white walls gets me off every time.

  • whiiiite waaaaaaaaaaall whiiiite waaaaaaaaaaall whiiiite waaaaaaaaaaall whiiiite waaaaaaaaaaall

  • Alaska is my favorite. I just love how the song completely changes gears. It flows so well.

  • fuck dude i always get chills at WHIIITE WAAALLS

my face gets like tingly. so epic.

  • My favourite is for sure the one in Decade of Statues. Then its the breakdown in White Walls.

  • I dnt really like the cds before Alaska.. but I like the parts on this video alright

  • this video right here is the epitome of why my car booms the way it does.

  • mordecais the best one definetly. i cant help but head bang to that one

  • Breakdowns in the Selftitled- $LAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMINNNNNNNNNNN

  • THIS IS WHAT WE CALL A BRAAAAAAIN

  • the Decade of Statues breakdown sounds a bit like super mario O_o (my first time hearing it..I'm loving BTBAM)

  • camila rhodes is too sick for brutallity

  • Thank you for putting the self-titled on this list. It's so neglected =(

  • @Scifire were the cds before alaska just death metal?? or was there the progressive parts like with soloing and stuff?

  • @blink2gethr4evr Their first two CDs are a lot different from Alaska and are definitely heavier most of the time. But BTBAM's music is always progressive, always good, and always filled with surprising moments. More of Myself to Kill, Aspirations, Mordecai, and Shevanel Take 2 are all great examples of that.

  • @Scifire Oh sweet! yea I love how the gutiars are NEVER just power chords but ACTUAL chords PLUS solos... and the drums calm down when the music does and its all just beautiful. AND omg i cant believe i almost forget the BASSIST!! he is sssssooooooooooo bad a. thing is... between TGMD, Colors their cover album and Alaska.. i CANT pick which one I like best.. their just alllll sooooo amaaaaazing!!

  • @Scifire Between the buried and me's first album isn't as awesome as everything else in my opinion. I thought they sounded a bit different back then.

  • @blink2gethr4evr yeah, they just weren't as progressive as they are now, but definitely progressive elements in their old stuff.

  • AWESOME VIDEO! You really picked the right breakdowns :)

Personal fav... hmm, foam born b is fucking sick, but i still love white walls.

  • The "white wall" breakdown is the greatest metal breakdown ever.

  • people listen to btbam for breakdowns?

  • @rockthehiddenlotus People listen to BTBAM to complete their lives, however their breakdowns are notable, to say the least.

  • shevenal cut a flip breakdown is best!

  • the foam born B one is my favourite. that section is SO AWESOME. i can't believe it exists.

  • i really like btbam but im getting sick of how he has no range in his screaming

the silent circus was the best because he actually used lows

and no his voice is just the same over and over

i love them but i cant stand to sit there and listen to a 15 minute song if is the same thing repeated gets boring

  • @518julio Dude I know what you mean I really didn't like them at first because of that, but the guitar, drums, bass, and Tommy's awesome singing makes up for his range on screaming

  • the first breakdown in decade of statues is pretty tits too but good vid none the less

  • I would say Disease, Injury, Madness is the most brutal song by BTBAM. Fossil Genera best song musically (Great Misdirect)

  • It's hard to have a 'best BTBAM breakdowns' video without including EVERY BTBAM breakdown. haha

  • @supremebeing87 Lol my thoughts exactly

  • Very good video. I was scared you weren't gonna include that Decade of Statues on (the last one on your video), because that's probably the best breakdown I've ever heard in my life.

  • haha thanks , yeah that is also one of my favorites too because of its originality.

  • @healingXcuts me too haha

  • @healingXcuts Decade of Statues is what i instantly thought of before watching this video haha

  • @healingXcuts DUDE I HEAR DECADE OF STATUES LIVE LAST NIGHT holy shit i cant type. you guys, go fucking see this band. it was fucking unlike any other band ive heard hahahhah fuck yea

  • @healingXcuts I think backwards marathon is better

  • i actually like his new screams u cn tell wat hes sayin...... normally i wudnt care, but these guys are lyrical GENIUSes

  • White walls is my personal fav. Even though it's only like 20 seconds long.

  • autodidact =

     sick break down!

  • yessss indeedy!

  • 1:30 BREE BREE BREE

  • Fuckin all there breakdowns are the best ha

  • white walls has my all time favorite breakdown ever.

  • awesomeness btbam <3

  • No Swim To The Moon?! :D

Oops, this was made since May! Check out my list (Part 3).

  • i love the prequel to the sequel breakdown most when its live, they go lower :D

  • Foam born b, is the best breakdown by far.

  • my favorite band ever

  • keep writing keep dreaming

  • 4:00 is really made by god.. that dude is absolutely right!! white walls is definately the best breakdown ever

  • i like his old deep screams

  • Mhm, I miss them.

  • i think his singing is better but listening to the great misdirect his old screams were better

  • WHIIIIIITE WAAALLLS!!!!!!

    Best Break Down EVER! :D

Well the one near the end to swim to the moon is pretty great too, and Autodidact.

In other words they are all amazing.

  • 4:00 - 4:18........ God made that

  • I'm so happy you put White Walls and Autodidact on here. The last breakdown in White Walls is my favorite breakdown of all time, and my favorite song out of any band, ever. Well, I'm not sure if I like White Walls more or Swim to the Moon.

    Anyway, awesome video.

  • thanks dude, and swim to the moon is heavy as fuck lol

  • Oh I know, that song is incredible. BTBAM are definitely masters at what they do.

  • @MetalMilitiaFtw The break downs in white walls and swim to the moon are essentially the same except They squeezed a bit more out of swim to the moon! :D which i didnt think was possible

  • @MetalMilitiaFtw Swim to the Moon breakdown.. Holy fuck. Shivers every time.

  • croakies and boatshoes?!?!?!?! where !?!?!? That's one of their sickest breakdowns

  • and you totally saved my fave for last....f'n sick man.

  • thanks!

  • imo, you should left more of an intro to the shevanel one...cuz alot of good breakdowns are about transition from a different time based part and the transition is part of what makes it real good.

  • yea you're right now that i think about it...

  • needs more "looking up"...i love how btbam breakdowns aren't soo much the generic open palm breakdowns that mainstream bands always rely on.. btbam adds some "groouuvee."

  • absolutely.

  • what do u mean by "looking up"

  • lost perfection anablephobia

anablephobia - fear of looking up

  • ya thats one of my favorites...

    DEATH IS IN THE AIRRRRRRRRr

  • nice man

  • thanks

  • tommy is so much better now, holy crap.

  • WHITE WALLS.

  • Good collection, although the last one isn't really a breakdown.

However, I believe All Bodies (5.03) and The Primer (1.59) definitely deserve a place on your list. You know I'm right.

  • Comment removed

  • theres two breakdowns in autodidact, theres one ner the beginning its not that long but its the "impossible thoughts" one. but the other breakdown is such a manly breakdown, love it

  • Lost Perfection (Anablephobia)! where's that one??

  • Camilla Rhodes break down is the best. PERIOD!

  • YEPYEPYEP ^__^

  • how did you manage to leave out the very best breakdown they've done, at ~1:10 of Lost Perfection B?

    facepalmin'

  • i know ffs, thats actually my favorite breakdown now. i wasnt really in to that song when i made the vid, but it will definitely be in the next vid.

  • WOOOOORD to that, I went balls to the wall crazy when I saw em live....going to see em on in two days again in Toronto. be jealous :P

  • LOSER. LOSING. LOST.

  • Ive been waiting for someone to do a video with btbams breakdowns. I LOVE IT its fucking awesome man.

  • thanks!!

  • autodidact (L) yo man the breakdown in white walls at 2:45 is AMAZING. should have included it!

  • autodidact's is pretty sick too

  • alaska is their best breakdown by far

  • i love btbam, my fav=]

  • gotta love the decade of statues

  • Wtf i swere this is exactly the same as my video

  • dude white walls is a brekdown! and the best of all

  • dude!!!! Roboturner!!!!

  • Do you mean the part where Tommy says "FUCK THEM HARD" over and over? I thought about that but I never put it in, sorry. If I make another vid after the new album or something I'll put that in.

  • yeh and like the other one where tommy screams "NO MORE HUMAN ACTIONS" which is pretty much straight after the "fuck them hard" bit

  • Which song says 'FUCK THEM HARD' in it? And one you left out was the decade of statues, around 13 seconds in. That's a really good one.

  • thats roboturner, and I should have put that one in DoS in the video :/. I'm probably going to make another video after The Great Misdirect drops because there is alot of other shit I could have put in this vid.

  • Niiice :D

But you shouldn't have used the first one.. it isn't THAT cool and it's certainly isn't a 100 % breakdown... same goes for White Walls, but it's gooooooooood! :D

  • Thanks :)

I did realize they didn't fit the breakdown "formula" entirely, but they are pretty fucking heavy and I thought they needed to be in there, I did have second thoughts though. Whatever I guess.
