The reason was based on the clients wants in the design of the house. I understand what you mean though.

how was the roof constructed?

The roof was constructed with box trusses above the Vigas & Latillas. It is actually a flat roof above what you see in the video.

Thanks for the complement the "binder" is a clay based plaster.
