Well, I strongly believe church and state, religion and politics should be as separated as oil and water. The problem is, does His Holiness believes so? Does the Tibetan exile government believes so?
If you don't know. The Tibetan government is based on religion. What into you? just because you believe that church and state should be separate, then that doesn't mean every other country should do that. Tibet was a religious isolated city till the 20th century, when the chinese came and destroyed everything.

If by "you people" you mean the Han Chinese, I should remind you that Buddhism came to Tibet through China, not India (HH acknowledge this in his talks), and there are probably more buddhists among Han Chinese than any other ethnics. However, all sects of Buddhism including Theravada, Mahayana, and Lamaism co-exists peacefully, and no single person tells others which Buddha not to worship.

Long live the Dalai Lama and the Dalai Lama should return to Tibet. Yeah. All the 50 places, stretching as far as hundreds miles apart, started "protests" that evolving beating people and burning shops, all of sudden on exactly the same day at almost the same time. No, that's just a pure coincidence. Nobody was behind coordinating the whole event. Nobody.

It started out in lhasa, the capitol of tibet and then carried on to different cities. and if you don't know people have cellphones, they started texting and calling other places. the chinese army could have stopped it on the first day, but they were waiting for their generals command, who was in beijing in a meeting. and if someone really did plan it, i don't think they would be stupid enough to nor inform the media to be there.
No. Mar 14 in the morning in lhasa and Mar 14 in the afternoon in Sichuan surely isn't on the same day. Because the 95% Tibetan slaves support the Chinese as they abolished the serfdom system and gave them back the land and freedom.
In old Tibet before 1950, 88 percent of Tibeten people were born as slaves. Slaves didn't belong to themselves, they belong to their slave masters who occupied 5% of Tibeten population at that time. Slaves could be sold,bought,abused at the will of their masters!

I have to disagree with you on this one. An example, when the railroad was being built from china to tibet. Less than 5% of the workers were Tibetans, The rest were Han Chinese who migrated to tibet for the job. They were given first considerations. and I don't think you need that much qualifications to dig mud. and I am not saying the Tibetans are slaves of the chinese. Its just that there living style has become so worse, by living under the chinese rule that it can be compared to slavery. :)

It is so good to see faces of Children, but it is sad to see if seed of hatred is planted. It is good to see that so many Tibetans (in exile) are highly educated in the west, but it is a pity if they could not use their knowledge to save China from cultural destruction as a result of westernization/modernization. What into you? just because you believe that church and state should be separate, then that doesn't mean every other country should do that. hehe, don't come to conclusion so fast. If by "you people" you mean the Han Chinese, I should remind you that Buddhism came to Tibet through China, not India (HH acknowledge this in his talks), and there are probably more buddhists among Han Chinese than any other ethnics. However, all sects of Buddhism including Theravada, Mahayana, and Lamaism co-exists peacefully, and no single person tells others which Buddha not to worship.

nice one. That is why all the monks were protesting in Tibet for his holiness to come back. In all the 50 places that protests took place. There were two common theme. Long live the Dalai Lama and the Dalai Lama should return to Tibet. Its because of him the protests stopped, and china had the decency to actually blame him for the protests. what a shame on china's part. but it would be nice to see Hu Jintao and Dalai Lama talk for a change. we have to start somewhere right. :)

It started out in lhasa, the capitol of tibet and then carried on to different cities. and if you don't know people have cellphones, they started texting and calling other places. the chinese army could have stopped it on the first day, but they were waiting for their generals command, who was in beijing in a meeting. and if someone really did plan it, i don't think they would be stupid enough to nor inform the media to be there.

No. Mar 14 in the morning in lhasa and Mar 14 in the afternoon in Sichuan surely isn't on the same day. And hundreds of people surely are always just a few phone calls away from forming a mobilized mob. Obviously non of this is planned. And how can anyone who are planning a riot stupid enough not to call the media ahead to take some nice photos?

i still don't believe someone planned the protests. but yea, if someone really did plan the protest. then my hats off to that person. wow. what a good job. you know how hard it is to protest in china, but in 50 different places. thats just amazing. what happened to the powerful communist regime. they probably didn't get hit this hard since tinammen.

i am so sad, so many tibetan never go to school cos they is not staying in China tibet... please help them.... give them education, let's them understand what is freedom... this will cos life lose... contact me if anyone of you need free education...

Chinese (including Tibetan in China) will never allow the former slave owners regain the power to destroy the human rights of Tibetan civilians. Why they had to escape from China 50 years ago? Because the 95% Tibetan slaves support the Chinese as they abolished the serfdom system and gave them back the land and freedom.

In old Tibet before 1950, 88 percent of Tibeten people were born as slaves. Slaves didn't belong to themselves, they belong to their slave masters who occupied 5% of Tibeten population at that time. Slaves could be sold,bought,abused at the will of their masters!
I admire Lincoln,the greatest former US president because he abolished the slave system in Southern America. Lincoln is always the hero in my heart.
Those Chinese who abolished the slave system in Tibet in 1950s are heros either!

tell me something that the chinese government has done for the tibetans. i don't think tibetans are living such a lavish life after the chinese occupied tibet. they have become a minority in their own country, and hold lesser jobs compared to han chinese (percentage wise). now tell me who is living a slavery life.

At least they fucking have jobs now! There's nothing but dirt there. The geographical interior of China is not exactly a piece of cake to live in. And no they are and were never slaves under China. If any it's the Dalai lama who treated his own people as slaves when he was in Tibet.

I have to disagree with you on this one. An example, when the railroad was being built from china to tibet. Less than 5% of the workers were Tibetans, The rest were Han Chinese who migrated to tibet for the job. They were given first considerations. and I don't think you need that much qualifications to dig mud. and I am not saying the Tibetans are slaves of the chinese. Its just that there living style has become so worse, by living under the chinese rule that it can be compared to slavery. :)

Central gov provides free 9 years education,Dalai never did. Central gov freed slaves,Dalai never did. the average life expectancy 1959 was 35.5,the average life expectancy 2005 is 67. The neonatal mortality level 1959:43%.The neonatal mortality level 2007 :3.1%.
