I was just watching videos of animal neglect and abuse that happen in other countries. I am so proud of america although we have a lot of cases of abuse here too, We also have videos like this one which shows we are compassionate and kind human beings. I love my dog so much I love stories like this, wish there were more like them.
thank you..i just watched the brazil flood footage and unexpectadly watched a poor woman make a difficult decision of releasing her chihuahua into the waters in order to grab a rope and save herself. it was too much for me so i came here for solace.atleast this one got saved.
This rescuer is a HERO, the County of LA should commend him. I love the dogs God gave me. They are my family, I am a Ph.D. and Psycho-Physiology and with authority I can tell you that every time you touch your pet your body produces serotonine, the hormone of HAPPINESS!!!... I wish we could find the name of the rescuer so we could publicly acknowlege his act of mercy towards God's creation!!!
I might be wrong about this but I think serotonin is not a hormone. But dogs do help the production of serotonin known as the happiness hormone although it's not a hormone. Go figure!
dats my grandmas dog spikey i swear to god shes taking hold of him like in about 2 weeks becuz they are doin some ceramony to the dog and the firfiighter
Well "Vernon" is now a celebrety around the world, and he's handling it pretty well.. How will they ever decide who the lucky person is that will be adopting him? Nice to see a feel good story after so much tragedy lately.
This is a testament to the compassionate and caring culture of our country. Over 50 firefighters and a helicopter participated in the rescue of this dog. In most countries, the government would not put forth any of their resources to save an animal.
I wish to know if that dog will be adoptable or has a home- hopefully its aggression is just panic.. it may be unadoptable from an animal shelter d/t bite history
Really amazing! And the poor guy had some bad dog bites to his hand...God bless those Fireman who do this on a daily basis. And how cool is it that some people out there still love dogs? :)
Words fail me--thank you Firefighter Joe St Georges and all others involved in saving this dog. Such compassion is rarely seen. THANK YOU many times over for being willing to save this frightened canine.
they are my heroes!
