My wife and I were watchiching that race at that corner, sitting with our legs over the wall. I remember commenting to her at the time that Bill took the exact same line every lap, and was noticeably quicker than everyone else around it. Absolutely class act and a joy to watch. My other memory of that day was that it was absolutely gorgeous - always a bit of a lottery at the IOM!

He is an absolute top class rider.

My video shows how smooth and effortless he makes it look whilst still wiping the floor with everyone else! He picked exactly the same line on all four laps. As I expect you know, with the IOM its knowing exactly where you are going and then having big enough balls to keep the throttle open!!

I set off with him in practice on an NC30 in this year and he left me for dead in Glen Helen!
