† February 06 2012 † Exactly one year ago we were losing Gary sir here, one of the greatests. Let's mark this day with a big load of thumbs up for Gary and Thin Lizzy, people!
This is great but it also makes me sad. How I wish I could hear Phil's voice singing about Dino's Bar & Grill, again. It just isn't the same without Phil.
The medley Cowboy Song - The boys are back in town is simply the best one I've ever heard. This version is amazing, Scott is a great guitar player (surely better than robbo) and Gary was... Gary. I hope that Phil an Gary are playing together now
Saw Gary Moore 1 time in the States I was 17 years old and he opened for Def Leppard & Krokus in 1983 and as good as the bands that followed him were they didn't hold up to Gary or his backing band Ian Paice-Drums, Neil Murry-bass, Neil Carter-Guitar/keyboards.....
Now thats what I call TALENT! Saw Thin Lizzy back 1980 at Cal Expo in Sacramento Ca.They opened for Journey and The Marshall Tucker Band. They stole the show!

Don't Know who he is but the Bass player is Brilliant such an understated performance but powering away in the background

@infarct999 It's John Noyce, the bassist from Jehtro Trull.
