these cars cant compare M3 is a racing machine! ya u throw down $700 for a jb3 and get 100hp gain in a 335i cool u can pull it on a drag, take it to the track see what happens ///M power !!!!!!!!!
A tuned 335i (for the money) will out run a stock M3 from a roll. (Period). On the track, that's a whole different story. The two cars are different animals. I personally own a 335 M-Sport and enjoy the hell out of it. The possibilities of mods, and the dependability, and class of a fine German car. A <2006 M3 (even with bolt-ons) compared to a modern 335 is also comparing apples to oranges. Odds are, the 335 will take the older M3 time and time again.
but if i have the money i would buy an M3 ^^ they look nicer and have something that 335i doesnt have(thats beside the ~$18k price tag over the 335i, but my opinion is if we had a lot of money i think you would get more horsepower out of an 3.0l inline 6 than the M3 v8 even with turbos buts thats my opinion ^^^
ok i beeing saying this to other ppl and i say it again, Unless is the V8 M3 2008+ , the 335i stock is a better car than the e46 inline 6 M3 in every spec ( acceleration, breaking, turning, etc etc) and if you cant seem to understand that = better time in any racetrack, and if you want to make it better than the new m3 in every spec will cost you ~ 6k more thats even ~12k less than the e90+ M3, still thats for ppl that want to save money lke me.
