@iceomer7 right.. i never said all pokesavs cause this but it could have confused the server making it freeze. I play MMOs and there are times wen they reset the servers in the dungeons. My friend's character got locked into a dungeon.. he couldnt leave it so his character became useless.. i THINK what happened was the server gave up on them but it still seemed like they were waiting for the screen to load.

@rockongroudon You see, you must have misread my comment. I said Gliscor couldn't learn Fly, and then I said if a Crobat could Fly (which it can) then Gliscor should be able to as well. As Gliscor to this day can not learn Fly legitimately.

The Pokémon might've been extremely hacked, but he managed to get them on Wi-Fi, and as such, it froze the battle.

Kinda like when you try to use a certain level up cheat in Emerald and you encounter something, but the screen stays black while the music continues in the background.

I don't even know if there are any hacked Pokemon restrictions... I've never actually seen proof that they are banned, but I have seen ones that were hacked (not with my own eyes, but on YouTube videos).

Is there anywhere written that says that they are banned? I would sure like to know...

@LionsRainx99 Severely hacked Pokémon usually become Bad Eggs when transferred to PBR. I think this guy might've either gotten them from Pokésav, they have non-legit IVs/EVs or they were obtained with a modifier code. I dunno about the last one, but the other two seem likely. And the game did not catch this when he transferred them, so they didn't turn into Bad Eggs.

No, Gliscor can not learn Fly, though if Crobat can do it, so should Gliscor. Yet, it doesn't.

I feel ur pain.About a few weeks,that happened to me too.And that was my first D/C.I never saved the game though that time though.Thats when I learned my lesson.Always save the game before WiFi battling on the Wii.

They had a new update on PBR now. They automatically save your game when you disconnect from Wi-Fi. I personally like it saves me the trouble.

It happened to me once too, but it happened in the middle of the match. I figured the other guy was having trouble too, so I turned my Wii off to free both of us from the lag.

I've also battled against a person who waited the entire 60 seconds to make a move (causing their Pokemon to choose random moves). That was an annoying battle, and I actually stuck through that one because I wanted to beat the snot out of him...and I did.

I am pretty sure you can't, but I think they will make another PBR for platinum(which I think is stupid), maybe make and update you can buy on wi-fi, or maybe its already compatible with platinum. I haven't seen any myself, though.

No, you can't, but there are the trade battles (it is in the so called story)where you can take a rental team and if you beat your opponent change one of yours pokemon for 1 of theirs. But, it is not catching its trading.

When I said there was story and catching pokemon that was for handheld games like D/P, R/S/E, and F/L

Yes, but I mainly bought it to fight random people. I hate having to find friend codes and then battle. It is okay, but not if you want to fight 5 different people. And that graphics are nice too. I have my share of story games and catching pokemon on handheld. Changing up a bit I find is good not bad.
