For this live version I actually prefer Edwin's singing. He actually goes for the higher and it's not so nasal as Raine's old singing....plus Raine is a pretty standard singer now.
Edwin singing OLP, I'd never have imagined that happening. It's a good cover, excited about the album. I saw Edwin play a show in Toronto a couple years ago, he's great live.
@tjd07x it doesn't sound the same to me. they're still an amazing band, they just changed, just like every other band that started their careers 15-20 years ago.
Our Lady Peace are'nt that great anymore Gravity, Healthy in Paranoid Times and Burn Burn were all appalling considering what they did the first four times...........its good to see Mike Turner still doing what he used to do.
I disagree, Burn Burn finally has that Our Lady Peace. Healthy in Paranoid times was...different, they weren't instant stuck in your head songs, but I actually like a few songs on that album. Burn Burn though, there's like 1 or 2 songs i don't like and the rest are great. (All you did was save my life is ruined for me now though...christ overplayed much?)
wow...talk about a very confusing moment .... i don't know what do say but this pretty much sums up my entire life through college by seeing these guys on stage
lol I know right? I grew up in the early 90's (born 80 so the 90's was my teen years), and me and a friend of mine were absolute Tea Party fanatics, saw them upwards of 30-40 times and most of these guys played either festival's or opened for them...
Turner left the band right when it started to suck. Coincidence? Not a chance.
Maida's voice has lost his edge, and now I actually prefer Crash Karma's performance to the current OLP. Amir adding in the harmonies at "as clumsy as you've been" just makes it for me.

OLP is so bad now. They should have kept making music like they did on Naveed. This is a pretty good cover, though.

I lost all kinds of interest in OLP after Turner dashed. :(

great cover....they're obvs better than OLP now, but Raine's gotten old, give him a break, he was sick back in his day!
i still prefer the original obvs, but this is pretty good.

It just doesn't sound the same when Steve Mazur is playing it.
Or when Raine Maida is trying too hard.

Sadly, this performance is better than the OLP of 2009... go Mike!

Band sounds great and the vocal harmonies are fantastic. This is much better than I thought it would be.
