@DanneLinofy Why would it break it? If you look at other videos with GTX 580, some of them run at 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 or even higher. There's no chance that a resolution can break a card.
@MrGamesOfficial So what kind of Processor do you recommend with HD 5670 bottlenecking it. I have Intel Dual Core E5700 3.0GHz right now, and AMD CPUs are not available in our country. BTW Thanx
your still getting 30 on the 2.6 what else would you want 30 is smooth enough i hav an i7 870 overclocked to 3.6 stable i still get the lags and with that kind of setting i get no where near 30 nice vid mate.

you are completely 100% wrong. The human eye can distinguish HUNDREDS of distinct frames per second. The myth about 60 fps comes from windows xp defaulting to 60hz refresh rate, causing average users to think that their eyes couldn't recognize anything higher than 60 fps. Modern day 120hz LCD's can display 120 distinct frames per second, and the difference is like night and day.

@Mdemons12 pretty cool man. are you running it with Orbx FTX Blue add on scenery? I think I am in this video That will probably explain it.
what aircraft are you using?
what settings are you using? could it be that some settings that drain cpu resources may be set lower than mine or vice versa? such as cloud density, range or weather? just an idea.
@Mdemons12 Yes I run with AU Blue, it's such an awesome product and at the time I was flying the Carenado C152 which is not as detailed as Captain Sim but definitely more than the default C172.
hiya mr game im having aproblem with fsx i have a intel i5 760 2.8ghz which can go to 3.2ghz with turbo boost on a zotac 9800gt 4gb of ram 32bit operating system and i only get like 15fps in london heathrow airport which is unusual to say i have a i5 proccessor can u help me out

@MrGamesOfficial i have about 80% on everything but i got annoyed so i deleted it and reinstalled it and now it works like it should do im getting like 40fps in heathrow now thanks for your help how could i improve the quality of the textures without getting a new graphics card

@iryan74656 im against piracy man, but i think i already have the plane so i will give it a shot for you sometime. im just very busy at the moment so it could be a couple of weeks or so. but i guess this video is fairly popular so another one wont hurt :D

@16hypen3sp with stock cooler you could reach 3.0ghz probably stable without any other voltage problems or anything and make sure you turn off onboard graphics so its taking the full power or your 5770 and 8 gigs of ram is pretty good but buy an aftermarket cooler and watch some youtube vids of overclocking and try to reach 3.4-3.6 and you could run crysis maxed easily. I don't know why you're system can't run it though I have a gtx 460 Amd athlon II x4 640 quad core 3.0 ghz and I can 60fps +
i have a single core 2.66ghz cpu, i just wack out the priority! works for me! my pc uses 0.01mhz of the value shown. exactly 0.0001mhz on a live moniter.
@MrGamesOfficial Hey mate ;) please could you answer this cause id love to know My specs are Intel dual-core i3 540 ( 3.06ghz) what overclocking do you think i could do without needing a water cooling system? Rdeon 5770 HD graphics RAM : 3 gb DDR3 Harddrive : 300gb Thats about it, what will i be aple to put my settings up to as in ultra high medium?? How much could i overclocking with out the need of a cooling system?? How many FPS will i be getting? Please answer and i love your vid btw Thanks
@1Filmproducer thats a dual core which runs 4 threads, so its similar to a quad core. theoretically should run very similar to this video on stock clock, if not a little faster (5fps or so).
overclocking wise, ive seen that processor hitting over 4ghz with air. but that depends on what cooler and voltage settings.
a good motherboard is also important
with the stock cooler, you are probably looking at 3.4ghz max if ur lucky before it gets too hot.
@MrGamesOfficial thanks very much, ill investigate into it about the overclocking but now that youve said that i think im sure what i want to do now, thanks
Great Video but... FPS doesnt matter... LAG is caused by changes in FPS. You can have 20 fps, but if it doesnt go up/down by 1 fps, then it would look like if it was at 50fps. But computers cant keep exact, only human eyes can.
hey , i´m useing fs9 with all sceneries since years. I bought FSX in 2006... but never used it. The box is still Closed. Could u tell me , if my system is GOOD ENOUGH for that SIM, when i ´ll send u my system datas?..regards from Germany.
what about the new core 2 quad q8400 - which I have, I had a intel celeron D single core with an ati 4650 but since I got my new core 2 quad, I got about 30-40 more FPS - AMAZING
@MrGamesOfficial Yeah yeah just like everyone says that. It does the trick yes but mostly without addons. Traffic addons eats fps, etc... anyway thank you for the infos.
@Tranzorr fs2004 is shit easy to run these days, my old system with a 8800gt ran it maxed out on 60fps. fsx is another story. your going to want a quad core for that. i7 would do nicely and a ati5770 minimum. and 4gb ram minimum
@sgtsn1per should do fairly well. just the gts250 is a medium card, for the same price you could get a 5770 which is better. im not sure how well it will handle higher resolutions with this if its maxed out. im sure it will do fine though.
the i7 860 is very good, considering this video was run on a e6750 core2duo, the 860 should do much better ( in theory)
@MrGamesOfficial thanks, yeah the 250 isnt great but it's better then my godly peice of shit 9300GE lol, but if i go for an ATI card then i wont have physx but most likely i will have dx11 lol soo i dunno
1. My rig is AMD athlo X2 dual core 5200+ (2.7ghz), 4gb ram, 512mb geforce 9600gt: Playing crysis i only achieve average frame rates of below 20fps at 1680 x 1050. How can i most easily improve performance withougt buying new parts? Should i overclock the CPU?
2. I also have a spare 512mb ram stick. It is a several of years older than my existing ones, so will it slow the other rams down by adding it or is more ram better in general?
@Flyntendo can depend on what settings your textures are on also, low medium and high etc. Not to familiar with overclocking that CPU, but last i heard is that is wasnt very good at it compared to newer gen AMD and Intel CPU's such as the AMD 720BE or the Intel E8400.
@r1ccardo that's pretty much correct, although you may see slight image quality differences, like more vibrant colours, but only on a very small scale. like when i went from an 8800gt to a gtx285.
they say that ati cards have more vibrant colours though.
if it can play on the highest, then you can't really get much better image quality that is worth an upgrade. only frame rates is worth an upgrade.
the graphic card is weaker than seen in this video, but that shouldnt matter. it still has more than enough power for fsx and many other games. it should run better then seen here. seeing its so cpu intensive. both i7's you mentioned will do very well. just the 920 wont work with 4gb ram, as its a 1366 socket so so will need a 1366 socket board so it will have either 3gb, or 6gb RAM as its tri channel. unlike the 860's 1156 board. the 860 is faster and cheaper though.
Do you know how well an AthlonIIx4 OC@3.4GHz, 2gb 1600MHz DDR3, HIS 5850 Cypress, and a resolution of 1680x1050 will do in Flight simulator? Just because I was hoping to buy a 5850 by the end of this week for my new build and wanted to know the general performance of a quad over dual.
yeah, should do ok, not the best, but by theory, better then you see in this video.
As i havnt seen an athlon quadcore play fsx, i cant be exact. but it shouldnt do too bad. - it wont be as good as the i5 / i7 videos on youtube, but it will do the job ;D
@Lifeofa1 ...? i didnt exactly mean fsx i meant its a great set up

@TheHango its not so much bottlenecking the card, but its slowing your game down, by the sound of it, you have the same cpu in this video. e6750
all core 2 duos bottleneck fsx but a slight overclock will get you better performance like in this video.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@MrGamesOfficial no i have e7300.

what about the new core 2 quad q8400 - which I have, I had a intel celeron D single core with an ati 4650 but since I got my new core 2 quad, I got about 30-40 more FPS - AMAZING

Hey, what cpu were you running again in this video, for both 2.6 and 3.6, sorry I can't get what you said in the video.
Tranzorr 1 year ago
@Tranzorr core 2 duo e6750 stock at 2.66ghz, it was overclocked to 3.6ghz in this video - so around 1ghz more.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@MrGamesOfficial What do you recommend for FS2004 maxed out, REX addon and ultimate traffic addon, traffic at 100% and of course 40+ fps
Tranzorr 1 year ago
@Tranzorr not sure man, almost anything runs fs2004 maxed out these days.
u could get something better than this pc for around $500 -600 at fsx
otherwise for fs2004, a core2duo e5400, an ati 5670 should do the trick.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@MrGamesOfficial Yeah yeah just like everyone says that. It does the trick yes but mostly without addons. Traffic addons eats fps, etc... anyway thank you for the infos.
Tranzorr 1 year ago
@Tranzorr fs2004 is shit easy to run these days, my old system with a 8800gt ran it maxed out on 60fps. fsx is another story. your going to want a quad core for that. i7 would do nicely and a ati5770 minimum. and 4gb ram minimum

hey im looking at this system i might upgrade to and just wanted to know how well it will play this in very high in about 1680-1050 or a tad higher
The system im looking at is:
Intel core I7 860
8gb ddr3 1600mhz Ram
Asus / Gigabyte p55 ud4
1200w Advance Gaming Tower+Lights+25cm Fan
1GB Geforce gts250 PCI-X Graphics Card
and a 24'' HD monitor
sgtsn1per 1 year ago
@sgtsn1per should do fairly well. just the gts250 is a medium card, for the same price you could get a 5770 which is better. im not sure how well it will handle higher resolutions with this if its maxed out. im sure it will do fine though.
the i7 860 is very good, considering this video was run on a e6750 core2duo, the 860 should do much better ( in theory)
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@MrGamesOfficial thanks, yeah the 250 isnt great but it's better then my godly peice of shit 9300GE lol, but if i go for an ATI card then i wont have physx but most likely i will have dx11 lol soo i dunno
sgtsn1per 1 year ago
@sgtsn1per physx is only in some games. (very little) so it wont really matter. on the otherside, fsx only uses dx10. if it was me, i'd get the 5770.
my laptop has a 9300m, the core2duo @ 2.5ghz does a good job along with it. - just proves how important a cpu is for fsx.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@sgtsn1per btw, how much are you paying for this rig?
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
Hey man would a:
Intel Core i3@ 2.27ghz 4gb of ddr3 ram run fsx smoothly?
The video card is a intel hd graphics?
BranmasterG 1 year ago
@BranmasterG nope, it will run, but not too well.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@BranmasterG ATI and NVIDIA is GPU makers :) in the video its an gtx 285 from nvidia.
eivindrew 1 year ago
@BranmasterG everything was fine intel you said intel graphics
intel graphics cant run nothing good
p.s. dont use a laptop for gaming unless its built for it e.g. alienware

Can you help me with some crysis issues please?
Thanks!
Flyntendo 1 year ago
@Flyntendo can depend on what settings your textures are on also, low medium and high etc. Not to familiar with overclocking that CPU, but last i heard is that is wasnt very good at it compared to newer gen AMD and Intel CPU's such as the AMD 720BE or the Intel E8400.
- Michael (MGO)
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@Flyntendo somtimes playing in a window will also help with ur performance
bob4908 1 year ago
@r1ccardo that's pretty much correct, although you may see slight image quality differences, like more vibrant colours, but only on a very small scale. like when i went from an 8800gt to a gtx285.
they say that ati cards have more vibrant colours though.
if it can play on the highest, then you can't really get much better image quality that is worth an upgrade. only frame rates is worth an upgrade.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
Hiya.. thanks for this!
How would FSX run with ATI radeon HD 5830, 4GB RAM and a i7 920 @ 2,66 GHZ?
Or the same but a I7 860 @ 2.8 ghz?
Thanks!
kingshane94 1 year ago
@kingshane94
the graphic card is weaker than seen in this video, but that shouldnt matter. it still has more than enough power for fsx and many other games. it should run better then seen here. seeing its so cpu intensive. both i7's you mentioned will do very well. just the 920 wont work with 4gb ram, as its a 1366 socket so so will need a 1366 socket board so it will have either 3gb, or 6gb RAM as its tri channel. unlike the 860's 1156 board. the 860 is faster and cheaper though.
MrGamesOfficial 1 year ago
@MrGamesOfficial Woah thanks for the fast answer!
Will the 920 work fine with another motherboard, I'm planning on buying the DX58SO it says it has a 1366 slot.. will that resolve the 4GB ram?
Thanks!
kingshane94 1 year ago
Do you know how well an AthlonIIx4 OC@3.4GHz, 2gb 1600MHz DDR3, HIS 5850 Cypress, and a resolution of 1680x1050 will do in Flight simulator? Just because I was hoping to buy a 5850 by the end of this week for my new build and wanted to know the general performance of a quad over dual.
silenceyouidiot 1 year ago
@silenceyouidiot
yeah, should do ok, not the best, but by theory, better then you see in this video.
As i havnt seen an athlon quadcore play fsx, i cant be exact. but it shouldnt do too bad. - it wont be as good as the i5 / i7 videos on youtube, but it will do the job ;D

AMD Athlon 64x2 @3.2ghz (Its marketed as 6000+)
4/5 Gig of RAM
Thanks

you wont see too much of an improvement, but it will be better.
you need to get a better cpu. try get at least a quadcore.
