I am seriously considering getting a wildkat since I have always wanted a hollow body/semi-hollow body but they are so expensive. Has yours given you any trouble?

@jellyface187 The only problem i had was that it used to lose the tunning, mainly when I used the bigsby. But there surelly is a way to fix that. Other than that, it purs like a kitten.

I think you did a good job on the whole song ive been a gutair player for 20 years and it sounded fine the only people who are going to pick you apart are other musicans but people who dont play wont know what the hell your doing so if your happy with it stick with it bro

The reason why your solo sucks so much(and it really does) is because YOUR IN STANDARD Tunning!!!!! you need to be tuned to E Minor, in order for you to get the right tone, also the whole song is played in E Minor, so everything your doing is wrong anyways, also your using a chrome silder which is not good for playing ZZ top, you need a glass slider. And more thing don't ever use a wah wah pedal if your going to play this style of music. Well that's my advice for you and anyone else reading this

@aflockofmusic2 thanks for the imput, I'll try the tunning and maybe buy a new slide, when i learn to use this one.

Anyway, there's no need to be that agressive, I'm not a professional guitarrist, i just did this video for fun, and trying to sing the song too. I just disliked your acttitude. English is not my mother language, so maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, thanks for the advice

@PankRockCaveman Fuck it, play with a chrome slide with a wah pedal. Hell, play it standing on your head eating green eggs and f**king ham. Just make it sound good and believe in what you're doing. Who gives a shit what the hell you play the song with...it's YOUR version anyway. I think what you did sounds OK, at least you are trying and experimenting. Point is, you don't have to play exactly like the original with all the original equipment, but just make it fit and rock hard.

@Titleist024 you're both wrong, 4th and 5th string are turned up one note and 3rd string is slighty turned up to make it sharp, I believe that's called E Major tuning or Open E.

It depends on what you like, Personally I mute it, just to make that sound a little bit clearer. In this case it doesn't matter, this is just a try, a really dirty version of this song XD and I kinda messed up a lot of times
