@jcgalliano: Also, the late Jay Sebring was the inspiration for the Warren Beatty movie SHAMPOO, which was also noteworthy as the film debut of Carrie Fisher. She says the immortal phrase to Beatty's hairdresser: "Ya wanna fuck?" Good thing STAR WARS came along, under the circumstances...LOL
"Don't worry Catwoman, you wouldn't have killed me even if you shot the gun, the anti bat sonic device in my utility belt would have deflected the beam"
Wow!!! Batman sure had the "latest technology" back in the 60's didn't he? lol
The producers should have at least have allowed Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle to carry on. For a show that struggled with a lack of new material and recycled plots, they sure missed a lot of opportunities.
Batman and Catwoman should've kissed, if not in this episode another one! The fans deserved to see that, because deep down they wanted that! No doubt Batman and Catwoman secretly loved each other. Catwoman made her feelings known, where as Batman had feelings for her you could tell just by his actions and body language, he just wouldn't say it. They wanted to kiss each other and would've had it not been for Robin! They would've been a great couple and would've been cool if they did become one!
This Batman episode is very interesting as it has a link to Charles Manson. The man in the red trousers and red pants who is trying to stop batman and robin from breaking the statues and vases is no other than Jay Sebring, the famous Hollywood hairdresser, who was murdered, along with Sharon Tate, by members of the Charles Manson "family". In this episode his character is named "Oceanbring" a play on the name "Sebring".
I know. First time I saw this episode on TV, I was almost sure Batman and Catwoman would kiss before she got hauled off. If only Robin had waited in the hair salon just a little longer...
Ha-ha; I greatly applaud ‘Robin's’ interruption on the two of them *blows a raspberry* >:P

The teenager at 4:12 is Judy Strangis, who later went on to be a female version of Robin in "Electra Woman and Dyna-Girl"!

Ah, the love-hate relationship between Batman and Catwoman: one of the classic thwarted romances of the screen.
