When this movie came out in 87, it was unlike anything I had ever seen. The only good movies prior to this as far as special effects went were Altered States and The Wolfen. Great movies!

Pretty lame trailer for such an awesome movie. One may argue "It's an old movie, course the trailer's gonna be cheesey," but take a look at the original Alien trailer, it's badass!

Yes truly a timeless piece with the orchestral bgm.. every special effect in this movie can compete with nowadays cgi. Damn.. this movie is 21 years old. The jungle sweep scene is epic.. never to be seen like that again.

Apocalyps Now is even older and apart from music it's also timeless.
