  • MY SINCERE !! THANKS FOR

    THESE GREAT VIDEOS

    >>> GIVE THEM - A " LIKE " - WHILE WATCHING. !!!!

" Erik, aka Ricky Teal, Floridadadaa

  • Think the first song is "A Maiden's Prayer". It's very pretty, especially the vocal version Bob and The Playboys recorded in the forties with Tommy on lead vocal.

  • The best sounding guitars are gretsch guitars I have 4 .

  • Anyone know what songs these are? :)

  • @fiddlingurl I forgot hte name of the first song, the other two were "FADED LOVE", and then

"SAN ANTONIO ROSE". The first was a Waltz. Enjoy and STAY STRONG!

  • @MrCarlHaynes The first song was Maiden's Prayer and it is not a waltz. My wife and I have danced to it hundreds of times. nashville? It has changed for the all mighty dollar but we STILL have Western Swing down here in Texas and are damn proud of it!!

  • I grew up a big fan of Bob Wills Music.

Bob Wills is still the king of western Swing.

Chet is still the king of the Guitar!

  • I enjoyed this! I grew up A Very Big Fan of Bob WIlls music ! I still am !

Some of Chets favorite songs were also Bob Wills Songs.

There is no doubt , Bob Wills is Still the King !

  • Paul Yandell, and Steve Wariner

    Young!!!!!!

  • chet was good but his guitar style was to soft its got no attitude Eldon could give him a lesson

  • @bigcountrypicker Respectfully disagree, although I'm sure Chet would have been tickled to play with Eldon. Listen to Chet play Galloping on the Guitar and you'll hear nothing soft, just monster technique.

  • And not just pretty good, but pretty sounding too!!!

  • That specific guitar is the most recorded guitar in histroy so far. Between that and his D'Angelior there are no finer sounding instruments in his hands...

  • @acountrygent The 2 best sounding guitars ever on earth, was the original Merle Travis Gibson Super 400, and that sweet sound of the "original" Joe Maphis Mosrite, with the hole in the keyhead and white Carvin AP-6 pickups.

  • is that a young steve wairiner singing on this clip?

  • It sure is.

  • That there Atkins guy could play a pretty good guitar.

  • just beautiful, great voice and great guitar playing
