well... as a player who like very much protoss...i was a bit disappointed to see the new mothership turning from a full-destruction vessel to a "judicator like-support ship". But i agree thath the old one was too overpowered...and blizzard always takes a lot of effort in game balance so there is probably a good reason for changing the mothership's abilities. Anyway i hope they'll change the lasers.... it's ridicolous to see this huge warship firing like an infantry unit.

Technically based on how well you use it, two motherships can be deadlier than the first one, specially when used in conjunction with a shield regenerator...assuming they use one. That way one mothership attacks and retreats when shields go low, the other one comes over to take over. Used, with a couple of warp rays, and the other little flying unit that can do its freak out and attack everything flyer this would do well.

Shield Batteries are not in SCII because of the fact that if a protoss unit is out of battle, their shields regenerate very quickly.

actually i think i might prefer the new attack. its hard to tell since those 8 little plasma missles were rly awesome. Also at creep. Wtf r u talking about overpowered? its the same attack damage idiot...

I have always been pro mothership since its debut despite taking away planet cracker (bring it back, nerfed or something) . anyways the new mothership model looks incredible, excited that it got back time bomb, but I still prefer the way the old model's attack animation, with 8 shots flying out rather than two flimsy lasers. And, for overlapping purposes, colossi already have twin thermal lances with a more appealing animation and a more effective use overall (range and splash).

Meh everything shown here is something we've already seen.

I kinda have a problem with that black hole ability. Its too much of a screen distraction. Stasis Field was quick, simple, and its purpose was easily understandable, and most of all wasn't such a screen hog.
