I would say this music is alot more deeper and has trippy music and lyrics. Corpse is just mindless gore and intensity with blast beats everywhere. I like them both very much but i have been listening to death alot more lately.

@YouWillSufferUntoMe Yeah there is a major difference between Death and Cannibal Corpse. Death's music is much more progressive and melodic, all the songs have meaning to them. The songs are extremely disturbing at times, but they are artistic in nature. I like Cannibal Corpse, but they don't compare to Death. With that being said, Cannibal Corpse just obliterates you with non stop blast beats and massive distortion.

@Noah58 cannibal corpse is way more complex than death on many of their songs, it's like nile, you don't always see the complexity under the brutality but they are incredible musicians. Both CC and Death rule

@watcher2405 CC has some good stuff, don't get me wrong, but I like these guys better. Reason being that the guitar playing is more clear in these songs as compared to those by Cannibal Corpse. Maybe that's just me, but that's how I see it.
