the best film ever to be made...i watched it days ago and i cant think of anything else, its amazing, mesmerizing, so passionate, heartbreaking, i love James Franco to bits, this movie would have been nothing without him. I can't get him or the movie out of my head. that's how amazing it is. if you haven't seen this this film u really need to, it will break your heart. Titanic and romeo and juliet are nothing compared to this captivating heart-breaking story
I don't like the way they made my people (the irish) seem like a totally evil nation in this movie, but besides that it's one of my favouites. If only for happy endings though :(
O'Hara did a shit job of acting Irish instead of Scottish in this one, while I was initially expecting to have trouble believing Franco was English (which I didn't).
@charlotte4112 I didn't say anything about Isolde. But yes, Isolde was supposed to be Irish, so was her dad. But her dad was acted by a Scot, and did a shit job of acting Irish.
@xoPirateslove he says, "with every look he gives you I get sicker and sicker" basically it breaks his heart because he loves her but the whole thing is that he "won" her for his friend who I think is King Mark or something so he feels sad and uncomfortable whenever he sees them two together because he knows that Isolde really loves Tristan rather than Mark and it's just this huge love triangle and everyone's feelings get hurt in the end :P
