This one of my favorites as well. He has great insight into human nature ("...and to trust somebody is to be disappointed. It's never what you wanted, and it happens all the time"). But what makes him so appealing is a wonderful combo of beautiful voice, killer songwriting, and a gracious demeanor. I too listen to him every day--and hear something different every time. Thank you for this, Nancy.
I always like the way he paints a lovely picture...with thought-provoking lyrics... inspired, beautiful and worth contemplating....but never force-feeds us his point of view, like so many songwriters do. I love the gentle sweetness of his songs. Could go on and on.... ;) Thanks again! ~NAncy
I would be hard-pressed to name a favorite, Kat. I love so many of his songs for so many different reasons. But this one....is very, very special for sure!
Paul and Art got plenty of radio play, Jesse didn't - unless you had a station like WHFS on your dial. Videos of Jesse on youtube were very rare indeed until recently, so enjoy them all.
