The guitar for the unknowledgible is called a Parker Nitefly. I know I have one and it's the best guitar in the world.  Expensive but worth every penny. Kris does this guitar justice!

well.. he probably does have his own style. but idk, can play to an extent the styles of famous guitarists. That's good practice. There is so many guitarists that your bound to playing like one anyway Plus people asked him to do this. But your right too. It's is definitely a must to have and develop eventually your own playing style.

they are pretty nice. the more expensive models have graphite necks and headstocks. they have a lot of tonal options becauuse you can buy them with three pickups with coil tapping, and many of them have a fishman acoustic pickup in the bridge as well.
