If you turn down someone for bad credit, then they can't sue you. Some may try, but will fail in court.
If you turn someone down because they are black or white, and they can prove that is the reason, then they will win the suit.
If you turn someone down because they are gay and they can prove it, it will depend on which community they live in. Most don't have antidiscrimination laws for orientation, so they would lose.

This is why we have anti discrimination laws. You are not allowed to discriminate for religion, race, age, sex, or national origion.
A religious organization can discriminate for religious reasons, as long as they don't receive public money.

If you turn down someone for bad credit, then they can't sue you. Some may try, but will fail in court.
If you turn someone down because they are black or white, and they can prove that is the reason, then they will win the suit.
If you turn someone down because they are gay and they can prove it, it will depend on which community they live in. Most don't have antidiscrimination laws for orientation, so they would lose.

I have seen people not raped in the news because they were black claiming to be raped. I have seen people not fired from jobs (they sit all day and not do any work) because of fear of a racial discrimination lawsuit. Bad credit is no exception....if you can throw in any discrimination charge (even if unfounded) you will win.

I personally believe that marijuana is not a drug and should not be illegal. I also believe that prostitution should be legal as long as the prostitutes are consenting adults. Homosexuality is different because it's not even against the law anywhere in this country and shouldn't be because a person's orientation is what it is and can't change.

The students at her school have the opportunity for a free prom at a lavish hotel down in New Orleans but I've personally spoken with a few of them and they won't do it. They sometimes have different classes taught.
Some do not have shop class, Some do not have auto mechanics.

You might want to check some case law of the Supreme Court. I think the case was Roe V. Wade that made abortion legal again in 1973.

Somebody has to be the one with the balls to stand up and take charge of making the changes. These people often face harsh scrutiny from mediocre minds who fear the change.

Dare I point to the Revolutionary War, Civil Rights and Women's Rights movements? Rosa Parks refused to abide by the rules because the rules weren't right. What happened at Itawamba is no different.
