  • how is it not shorting out or getting flooded? what upgraded did u do

  • Know that's real RC Mudding

  • nice, seems fun! :)

  • good way to wreck it

  • @brad13b To each his own.

  • Now that some good shit right there...

  • @slayer9ine9 Ya he has a point dont dis on something you wish you had kid.

  • @slayer9ine9 Wow, and this is coming from a kid who runs radio shack brand rc toys and fingerboards. Ok, my videos are gay hah.

  • @SilveradoKing53 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @0samy01 prolly fuck up ur engine theres a great chance of burning it out

  • afs gente os carrinhos bons e vcs falando mal

  • Nice vid 5*

  • the servos of the savage are waterproof

  • i accidently did this in a maverick atom once (i adjusted the throttle trim and it went shooting of) it disapeared under the water for a while and then came back up. i dried it of as quick as i could and it still works (yaaaaaay :). cool video. i bet you cant get one of those cars to skim over the top of the water.

  • i cannot emphasize how stupid this is! thers a difference between mudding and submarining. i like to mud too but this is just stupid

  • @traxxasmaniac123 Ever been to a mudfest event? Well I guess not because this is considered mudding even in the real world of offroading. Its muddy ass water with a slick bottom.....

  • @SilveradoKing53 yeh i have but this seems more like a boating event. how long do your engines last?

  • @traxxasmaniac123 They actually last a long time. As long as your running a good filter and you have the truck covered with WD40 it is fine. My truck has a 2.5R in it which is much more durable then 3.3's (I know this from experience cause I run a Hobby Shop) and I think this has alot to do with it.

  • @traxxasmaniac123 They last a long time actually. As long as you have a good filter and the truck is covered in WD40 your fine.

  • @SilveradoKing53 If you brought toy cars to any mudfest everyone would laugh at you

  • @thehuntman47 Thanks for pointing that out jackass. And yet again this comes from someone who has no video uploads....Congrats.

  • @SilveradoKing53 they use watery mud not muddy water, retard.

  • @rhys10055 And this is coming from a tea sipping brit. Who once again doesnt have shit to show for anything. Shut your fucking mouths if you have nothing better to say...

  • Stupid- buy a boat

  • LMFAO way cool dude!

  • hey its training time for young rednecks

  • gay youtube name

  • @papabeett And this is coming from some asshole who has fuckin beyonce halo as his one and only favorite.... Get lost loser.

  • this Mudding is nothing for may kyosho mad forc

  • how did you waterproof the savage???

  • @dvonlangen Put silicone around all openings in the servos except for gear obviously. Put a balloon around the reciever and just used a good amount of WD40 for the rest.

  • @SilveradoKing53 I did the balloon thing, it works great.

  • awesome

  • i cant wait to try out my swamp dawgs in the mudd.

  • I'm not trying this in my electric rock-crawler (O_O)

  • hell yeah 4wheel drive t-maxx's are beast i got one

  • rangerbrown what is a real rc buggy?

  • now go get a real rc buggy

    nitro is old school

  • put snorkels on the carb take a tube big enough to fit on the carb and zip tie it on and put the air filter on the top

  • who did you pipe the one?

  • That's what I was talking about!

  • u r nuts ur so lucky you didnt crack the block or get water in the carb. that tempature change for them motors is wayyy to much.

  • nice vid are all of your servos water proof???

  • rockon i love it

  • That's not mudding, Thats driving through dirty water

  • Well excuse me......

  • It's all good :) looks like a few deep spots. Try some Swamp Dawg tires you will like those in the deep stuff

  • Yea those mimic the TSL Super Swamper Boggers. Really nice tires.

  • awesome! nice to see someone has the balls to submerge these! 5/5!

  • Thank you, Im glad you like it!

  • @SilveradoKing53 LOL! did anything fry doin this??

  • STIUPID

  • Ok you little 14 year old wanna be gangster piece of white shit....

  • not really. its not hard to water proof them

  • this is the best mudding video i've seen and what cars are you using

  • Thanks man! The trucks are a T-maxx and a Savage X

  • The Savage X sure took for ever to get out of the mud hole the T-maxx had no problem and it isn't even tuned right yet and it got out of that mud hole without a problem

  • you guys should put smokestacks for exhaust

  • DAMN! you guys are trying to kill some nice decent engine and they aint even done tunning it =(

  • Huh? They've been broken in a looong time ago. And both these trucks still run so, its not killing them. You just gotta take extra steps when doing this to take care of them.

  • dude im 10 years old and i no dont rev it like that your gunna burn the clutch

  • You will if your stupid about it. But if you dont hold the throttle for ten minutes straight when the trucks being bogged down then youll be fine.

  • make a video of the savage hydroplaning

  • the rc trucks are gurgiling!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL????

  • keep that troddle on or ull fuck ur engine over

  • i got a savage 4.6 with a landrover body and it kicks ass :)

  • those are pretty sweet trucks i just bought a t maxx but im to afraid to go through mud that deep!

  • i cant wait till i get my maxx,

  • can you do this with a stock t maxx 3.3??

  • If you really wanted to yes. I dont recomend doing anything like this unless you are willing to take the chance of possibly braking something. Ive never had any problems but you never know right. lol

  • iis that a standard mufler

  • No its an RDLogics Dual Exhaust system.

  • electric > nitro

  • All opinion I guess.

  • True. Drive what you makes you happy in the end. However electric is more powerful and quicker than nitro now with large lipos and powerful brushless motors.

  • Yea I can agree, Lipos are great I just dont like how volitile they are when it comes to water and if you drop them on accident and stuff. I work at a hobby shop and I see puffed and melted lipos all the time. I started with my first truck being a T-maxx when I was 11 and Ive had nitro ever since.

  • this is an ok video but it sounds like someone drowning a cat ! lmao I'll stick to my electric

  • Yea Ive just never been a fan of anything electric. But thanks for the comment.

  • dude love the video thanks for posting visit my site and im gunna subscribe

  • what do you do to keep the water out of the eletronics??

  • Water baloons wraped around the reciever with a zip tie at the opening. And WD40

  • lol good vid but its more like a lake then a mud bog :)

  • great vid i want to get started in building rc cars also buy, sell, and trade business because they are just so awesome and i luv sitting on my computer and watching rating and commenting on other peoples videos. Great vid.

  • are those nitro tucks one was smokin so i thought so, but overall it was a grerat video great job :)

  • Yea their both nitro. Glad you liked the video though!

  • how much was the t maxx and slayer

  • that was sick dude

  • Thank you. Im going to be posting more videos like this soon.

  • it would take so long to clean dude

  • i just use my air compressor and blast it all off in about 2 minutes

  • good way to drown your buggy

  • Yea its great in't it? To bad their still running 1 year later :)

  • Where's the mudding? All I see is water.

  • Its muddy water, sorry I wasnt 100% to spec.

  • whats better a t maxx or a slayer

  • All depends on what you like. The T-maxx can go over alot more stuff. Stumps rocks tall grass ect... But the Slayer is Waaaaay faster and its alot of fun to drive. I have both trucks, but if your looking for something that will go over anything then get the T-maxx. If you like speed and scale looks get the Slayer.

  • how do those clutches work in the water lol from what i heard not very good , i bet you have to replace your clutch alot sooner

  • They will wear out alot faster yes. But its all outta fun.

  • are the servos hard to install. and thats all you need?

  • No the servos are easy to install. Four screws and that will remove em. Then you just have to unplug them from your reciever. Its pretty easy. But yea the only other thing I think youll wanna do is take a small party balloon and wrap up your reciever and sinch the end with a zip tie. And you should be good to go dude. Good luck and have fun.

  • you should have gone top speed across the water! That would have been cool!!

  • T front end would go into the water and the whole truck would do some nasty cartwheels

  • sounds so funny in the water

  • yea i know haha

  • yea, i just got 2 water proofed servos, like 20$ each, and their the same as buying them from traxxas, just ebay is a lot cheaper!

  • ok....

  • like how much $

    ?

  • I think the traxxas servos are $59 if Im not mistaken.. I could be wrong though.

  • Not if you buy on ebay! I recently won an auction for TWO BRAND NEW Traxxas waterproof servos for $25!!!

  • does anyone know were i can find some cheep water proof servos, i look all over, hobby stores, ebay, idk were to find them, please send me the link! ( nice video by the way 5 stars)

  • Traxxas makes waterproof servos. There not cheap though. Thats the problem. If anything go with some silicone. It works relativly well.

  • is silicone better then getting water proof servos?

  • No a waterproof servo would be best. But if you cant shed the cash for em, silicone is the next best bet, and its cheap. Which is always nice.

  • those r water proffed right, becuase i want to do this with my t-maxx 3.3 but i dont wanna kill the servos

  • I didnt have them water proofed here. They didnt screw up but they did slow down a little bit. I did water proof them afterwards with some silicone and that kept them dry.

  • lol they sund like theyre gargling

    nice video 5 stars!

  • Thank you sir. Yea it does sound like gargling haha.

  • ur welcome

  • Cool!, looks really fun!

  • that is cool as hell i always wanted to do this to mine just dont feel like cleaning the hell out of it later

  • LoL its not to bad to clean. Depends on the type of mud your hitting. This is sandy so its not bad.

  • i want one

  • and the servo ?

  • No they work fine even after all that water.

  • you damge it the truck ?

  • No damage to it. No they run and run lol.

  • great way to flood your engine and servos with dirty muddy water =)

  • the gurgle sound is funny!

  • wouldnt that mess up the truck or do you have to have a special kind of truck to do that?

  • the t maxx does a way better job at mudding

  • When i saw your videos i just had to try mud bogging my revo. Best time ever, except for cleaning :)

  • Hahahaha yea man thats the only downside..Other then that, its pure fun.

  • How or what kind of clutch do you run? I tried with that with my revo and the clutch just started slipping so bad it wouldn't even move until I pulled it out of the water. Did you do something to make yours not slip or do you run aluminum shoes or... ?

  • Your gonna hate me for this....No actually I dont run anything but a stock clutch. My slipper is tightened down all the way then backed off an eighth of a turn. Thats where you kinda want it to be...I think thats probably whats happeneing to yours. Its the slipper clutch thats giving in.

  • I Thought that myself about the slipper and put a new one in it. It still did the same in the mud/water. I tried to tighten it down but it's the clutch bell shoes that are slipping on mine. They are the high stall clutch shoes from traxxas but they don't work when wet lol.

  • Damm, thats crazy. Yea the high stall ones are nice but I never did have em in the mud. Well, I hope everything works out man. Leme know if you find a solution to it.

  • they dont need a snorkle ive put my t maxx 2.5s exhaust under water and it stayed for a secoong in idle then died only because the idle was too low...but just as long as your holdin the gas a little bit yoou wont screw anyting up...unless your a dumbass like me and forget to waterproof your steering servo:P btw does anybody know why the steering servo keeps turning by itself?? it turns right then left then back and doesnt stopmunless i shut it off plz tell me..

  • That sounds like your gears are gone inside the servo. When they go bad the servo just spins away. Check that, Im almost positive thats what it is.

  • The snorkle wouldn't do anything for the exhaust, it's for the air intake/air filter. Your servo just got water damage, not the gears. If it was the gears it wouldn't move the front tires at all.

  • the servo acted up long after water bogging.... and i know it does nothing to the exhaust im just sayin that the engine might not be able to push out the water so it might stall

  • Try another servo plugged into the same channel on your receiver to find for sure if it is the servo or the receiver. Probably just the servo.

Yes, it's not good to get water up the exhaust if it dies but it won't stall the engine out. Just keep on the throttle lol. Also, to save your electronics, use WD-40 after every water run. Spray the insides of damaged electronics down and dry them after. It's worked for me many times and saved me alot of money.

  • thats the same thing with mine

if you find out can you tell me

  • i got the servos to stop free spinning by cleasning all the conections to the servos then i blowdried everything really nicely..that worked for me, but there is no more torque in the servo so it cant even turn the tires in the air anymore..i need a new reciever, crystals, steering servo, gas tank, transmission, front left axle, body mount, and a whole front suspension set all because i drove it without testing the steering and range..ended up in the side of some guys house:|so yeaah..just dry it

  • Ouch

  • what fun! i wish my tmaxx would not act funny when i start it when i start it, it runs for like 3 minutes then when you give it gas, it just sits there and revs. anyone know this problem? please help!

  • Sounds like your slipper clutch is heating up to where it will slip. Either that or your cluthes are bad.

  • Thank you silverado! i will try both.

  • wow u shuud kift ur tmaxxa bit or use a snorkel the exhaust deflector

  • Yea the snorkel I was thinking about but the exhaust deflector it really doesnt need. It goes good in the water even with the exhaust under the surface.

  • didn't you wreck the motor doing that? I don't know that i would do that with my t-maxx

  • No it doesnt wreck the engine unless you got alot of water in it and tried starting it. Ive had water in the engine before but I was still able to pullstart it back up. White smoke and water shoots out the exhaust. Its pretty awsome lol.
