  • I wish I had that water exserciser.

  • i like chicken.

.__________.uU

  • :D

  • Beautiful horses!

  • i LOVE IT!

  • it's not mean at all!!! It's good for their body, heir legs don't have to support their hole weight, and it's really good to improve musculature!

  • @MalfoyDrago i agree, either way, in the wild horses cross bodies of water all the time. its something they overcome all the time and its good exercise

  • habla bien mal educado

  • It doesn't look like he likes that much. Look how wide open his eyes are.

  • Well, he is an arab.. that's just kind of how their faces are lol

  • no duh!

    they are training him!

you oviously don't know a thing about the equine world

  • lmao

    DIS AINT ARABIAN MUSIC

    XD

  • wow, my horse would love this, she loves splashing around in the big puddles that build up at the corner of our outdoor riding ring. (I can't wait for summer, so I can take her down to the river)

*shrugs* the horse in the video din't look like he was complaining.

  • you know you have a horse, i am thinking of investigating, would you mind telling me how much it is monthly to look after a shod and workin horse.

    Kindest Regards

  • well...I don't shoe my horse but her hooves need clipping every six to eight weeks and thats about $70 a visit, teath need to be done once a year that costs $100 a year. My boards is $375 a month for all of her food, bedding and the labour to clean and care for all of it. Plus incidentals like vet bills.

you also have to make sure your horse gets exercise every day so if you can't ride or longe every day you have to pay someone to exercise on days you can't.

  • Where are you from? it only costs me $25 for a trim and $40 for shoes. If you have a field for them to run in and play you dont have to exercise. It dosnt cost that much everywhere. Im from Arkansas and around here even if you had your horse boarded it only cost $250 a month and that includes exercise and food!

  • Thats, a really good training... thing.... I might use one...

  • Yeah, your right. It would be mean if the horse didn't like it, but if he likes it, then its fine. lol

  • Mean??

This is a training excerise for the horse (could also be therapy either way) but its good for it, it would only seem mean if the horse tried to resist, and hes not

  • no, its not mean at all, this is to improve the horse and make him stronger and faster as well.

  • Come on, STOP IT.

You´re BOTH right. So stop it.

  • lol seriously ay....

  • bless his or her heart the horse is too cute

  • mustluvkiba, KIBA ISH MINE!!1

  • wow thats a good way to work there musculs!

  • horsy got a bath

  • swimming for horses is quit hard for them

  • That is the best thing for a horse!!!

they do it a lot with race horses. its good for the muscles!!

And his/her eyes where probably like that because of all the people all around. not because of the water!

  • like u know a damn thing bout horses!

  • no need for rude language.

fyi, ive been working with horses for 4 years thank you very much.

    i also own an arabian

  • then i guess u know thats not horse abuse. fi u knew anything u would know that!

  • you just don;t give up, do you?

  • it's just therepy it's good for their muscles

  • Wow, then you must take terrible care of your horse... Swimming is an excellent therapy treatment! NOT some amusement park attraction... Besides, seeing a horse swim over and over again gets kind of boring.. xD

  • Water therapy is a great way to strengthen muscles without putting pressure on their hooves. It's a really common thing to do with race horses when they come of the track with hoof problems. Don't talk shit about what you don't know.

  • ok gosh you guys. you could have just said it like indiaismygirl without cursing! I'm only 12 and i love my horse very much! it was just the people standing on the side that kinda threw me off. ive nver seen a horse swim and i had no idea that they could benefit from it.

  • Its not pressure that is of any concern, it is the concussion. Try to know what you're talking about before you talk shit.

  • Give people a break, not everyone is as smart as you. Look at it like instead of them being stupid, they are misinformed!

  • Tell that to NiamhStar17. That was who I was referring too in my comment. If she is ignorant enough to tell people not to "talk shit about what they dont know" when infact she dont know herself, then I can tell her so.

  • Its not pressure that is of any concern, it is the concussion. Try to know what you're talking about before you talk shit.

  • Read other comment first. Also, she wasn't refering to you talking shit, she was talking about he person who reffered to it as animal abuse! If anything you should say something to her, you obviously know that is not true! NiamhStar is actually helping!

  • Nevermind you're lost. My comment to her is above your head.

  • Hey kildaltonspirit! I noticed you'd like to be a vet after college. I was an asst vet tech between the ages of 17 and 20, which included assisting in equine surgeries. At the age of 21, I saddled my first winner in horse racing. By the time I was your age, in my mind I thought I knew everything too. I didnt know jack, although I knew a hell of a lot more than most. At age 42 and over 700 lifetime wins im still learning. The point is, I doubt you or MianhStar17 at the age of 20 know much at all.

  • not its not amimal abuse. it's the best thing for their muscles.

  • Ok, pressure and concussion fall under the same category, why are you, dahosse65 and you MianhStar17, so worried about it. NiamhStars definition of what water treatment does is actually pretty accurate, and I can guess she is almost spot on. So why don't you quit picking a word, and blowing things out of proportion, no one wants to see cursing!

  • lol pressure and concussion are not the same thing. Take your right hand and grab your left arm and squeeze. Hold it until it starts to become numb. That is pressure on your arm.

Now take your right hand and make a fist. Pound it into the table over and over. That is concussion on your hand.

Better yet. take the palm of your hand and push your friend against the wall and hold him there using pressue from your palm = pressure. Now punch him with closed fist repeatedly = concussion.

  • I stand corrected, but I hope your read the part where I said not the same thing, the same category, it both deals with the hoof. Water therapy takes pressure and concussion off the hoof. And btw, how do you know how much I do and do not know. For all you know, I could be karen O'connor's groom, and know more than god. I dont wanna fight, so this is my last post!

  • Groom? *chuckle*

I didnt say that water therapy doesnt take "pressure" off the hoof, I said pressure is not the concern for swimming horses (I hope you read that part). It is the concussion a horse takes while in some form of training taht is of major concern.

Infact pressure on the feet is a good thing as it helps to pump blood back up the leg. Concussion is not a good thing when trying to rehabilitate an injury or strenghten muscle, etc.

God I hope Karen has better grooms. ;>

  • Ok, wow I think that post was from KildaltonSpirit... way for her to not log out on my account! I have no idea what ya'll are talking about.

  • like anyone cares what u have to say!!??

  • What if he wanted to come out???

  • thats the music from Magnum Psyche's video!!

Chau
