  • I agree completely, it's just a different style of music.

  • so sexy

  • Real. True. Funk.

  • What is the key of this song?

  • I WISH I HAD BOBBY BYRDS VOICE

  • 2 people don't have soul.

  • @SCAGS365...YOU GOT THAT RIGHT 1000 PERCENT BROTHA ! :)

  • This I love. This is music. It captures you by lyric as well as rhythm. Most of all... soul.

  • Rap is Crap-This is Music!!!

  • @69pontiacfirebird why do you come up with rap

  • @69pontiacfirebird Everyone has their opinions. I like both. And people who listen to rap think this is crap, but like i said everyone has their opinions.

  • @nargoon1 As a person who loves hip hop, and most genres of music, I can tell you this isn't crap. People just need stop comparing hip hop to every other genre. Anyone with bad taste in music would think this is crap. It's okay to not like the song, but to think it's crap is a bit crazy, regardless of what genres of music he/she might like.

  • i hear Fred !!!!! Trombone !!!

  • I live for this type of music i know i got soul i can't stop moving 2 the beat...5*****

  • This is so more than excellent for b-boying. Thanks for posting. Most of the time,it can only be heard at The True School Tools of War,Rock Steady Crew anniversaries, and Bambaattaa's Zulu Nation anniversaries. I'd like to thank you for posting this on here and also Louis Eric Barrier and William Griffin,Jr.(aka Eric B and Rakim) for sampling this for I Know You Got Soul(1987).

  • 2 people don't have soul.

  • why can't you embed this video?

  • SUPERBADNESS AT IT'S BEST! :)

  • If this song does not get everyone on this page feeling this song, Leave!, feelgood song here!

  • BANGIN!!!!!

  • Listen good to The Big Payback by James Brown. I'm sure the song is about Bobby Byrd, who got fed up with Brown's massive bullshit and quit in 1973.

  • @hork111 if that were the case he would have been fed up since 55 when Bobby byrd started the famous flames and then they became James brown and the Famous Flames!!!!!!!!

  • @tempts2000 Maybe that's the case. Sure Brown took over the Famous Flames. But without him, where was Bobby Byrd headed? We'll never know, but I suspect nowhere. To Byrd's credit, he recognized in Brown they had a unique talent and he got out of the way.

  • @hork111 I would say you're right because JB was so in your face!!!!!!!! thanks my brother!!!!!!!!

Is Bobby Bird still with us.If not when was his demise?
