mine cant wheelie like all videos show the stampede xl5 does!!!!!!! i have to backup and forward quick!!!!!!! also my motor acts like it has not enough torque. it turns on and off in a quick cycle if i gun it at a stop. it has a 20 or 21t pinion and stock spur. its the brushed xl5!!! i cant get it to do this and it has to have a FULLY charged battery to do offroad! someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it barely makes it up anything very steep!!!!!!!!!!!
hi there you just caught ne on here, they are both very good, very durable and forgiving, i personally like the Stampede as you can go a bit scale-like with the shells and change the wheel-base, i think with the Bandit you've got to be a 'Buggy' fan..just personal choice..Cheers..
ok please please tell me the proccess to making the headlights and can you controll them from the piston controller or do you have to do it manually??....thanks
Hi there, the ones on this vid will not balloon out as its the 12t Traxxas motor, after this i upgraded the Pede, to brushless and yes they do on a 9 cell 4700mah pack, maybe check out some of my other vids..Cheers
thanks sorry to bother you gain but does it go 30mph out of the box 3300 battery for it but im getting the truck to day im going from a wheely king to this so im shure the pede is way faster than this
Hi Fredburger, i'm not sure about the speed on Xl-5, but its fast enough as i remember, my garden is a bit short, and the grass was long-ish, so it will need time to hit 30..? Good luck with your first Pede, you'll love it..then you'll go Brushless like i did and love it even more! definately my most used rc..only prob with speed is the damage when you do crash..oh get some RPM bits in...Cheers
hi its a bit hard to explain, but i'll try, the rear posts come out of the rear side windows, horizontal.(i did'nt want to go thru the white roof) i used the Revo longer rear post, they are square on the sides, attached it stock traxxas shock tower, and drilled a couple hefty posts into the sides so they come out of the window, its hard to see on the vid, but maybe email me and i can send you some pics? cheers..
