doesnt anyone remember the down hill slide weve been on since 2000. we voted a lot of republicans out . now in only 2years you want to turn back to the people who dug this hole in the first place.
I can only pray that we don't give another neo-conservative a seat of power. Labeling Republicans as "bad people" is just as ignorant as doing so to Democrats, but this man [Kasich] will not be for the working class ohioan, and ohio is a state of the [very hard] working class.
Democrat Ohio Governor Ted Strickland is just a cheap, lying thug. I'm not saying that he ought to be yanked by his tie kicking and screaming into the gutter to be horsewhipped within an inch of his life, set ablaze with gasoline, and whizzed on, to put the fire out. Perish the thought, I advocate no such thing. But there's no telling what I might say if we actually had freedom of speech here in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Did I leave anything out?
Ohio needs to support charter schools and support vouchers we also need to cut funding to all public schools they are over funded and not held accountable for any money that they receive.
@glockguy9mm Just curious...where do you get your information? Are you involved in schools for your career? How do you know how accountable the schools are? Or do you just listen to whoever side you want to take an believe them. I've been in public education for 20 years, and yes there are some things that need to be changed. However, many of those things are forced on the public schools by the government, which does not fund the programs they enforce.
@corrisschool Well I’ve only spent 15yrs working with a public school system on their budgets I’ve seen the waste and the lack of accountability first hand. The schools are over funded that’s just a fact. It seems like you’ve been listening to the teacher’s union propaganda.
What has he done for public education? Lengthening the school year and reducing the calamity days, costing districts more money... Is that the help he is trying to give us? KASICH-TAYLOR '10. Strickland is more of the same... A terrible choice for Ohio.
@HomelessClownFilms I agree that Strickland has done some negative things to cost the schools more money...in the hopes to make them better. I have not heard anything the Kasich wants to do to make schools better. Sounds like he would like to dismantle them altogether.
I don't understand this video. As Governor, he's cut state funding to every school district, some by millions and millions of dollars. If that's not bad enough, schools are now anticipating MAJOR cuts in funding under Strickland's model.
