  • And knowledge of the canon in Star Wars will get you places. This goes for the ones who are ignorant and support George Lucas's changes to the originals. Why? Read one of the books, comics or play the games and you'll find out why people love them so much.

  • When will Sci-Fi get the respect it deserves? ^^, A recent Nobel prize winner in litterature had written Sci-Fi during a long period between her more respected books. The cultural elite thought treated the subject as embarressing.

    We need to clean up the Sci-Fi scene like Christian Bale cleaned up Batman.

  • "Limited" input is the way I read it. He hates it, sure, but that doesn't diminish its canonness.

    Leland Chee, who keeps track so Lucas doesn't have to, says most of the holiday special are considered canon; anything that is referenced in another work is considered C-Canon and anything that is not is considered S-Canon.

    I expect, based upon your name, that you know what G T C and S-Canon mean.

  • You posted this comment one year ago, but I must respond to it. I couldn't agree more.

    The Force Unleashed was probably the most disappointing game of the decade. When they announced it at the Star Wars celebration con in L.A. everyone was buzzing about it. Then, more than a year later, it took me-- oooh, thirty minutes-- to realize it was a flaming pile of feces.

    Cut to a few weeks ago when I saw it in a bargain bin at FYE for $5.
