Nadal has been consistent and there is nothing strange in his winnings because he has been maintaining a natural rate over the yrs. Some times he does better but he has always been at the top with Federer. However Djokovis has not been more than a great top 10 player or even top 5. ... We have eyes....!
1. Blood doping, including the use of autologous, homologous or heterologous blood or red blood cell products of any origin.
2. Artificially enhancing the uptake, transport or delivery of oxygen, including, but not limited to, perfluorochemicals, efaproxiral (RSR13) and modified haemoglobin products (e.g. haemoglobin-based blood substitutes, microencapsulated haemoglobin products), excluding supplemental oxygen.
The CVAC pod used quietly by Djokovic simulates high altitude compressing. The company claims that spending up to 20 minutes in the pod three times a week can boost athletic performance by improving circulation, boosting oxygen-rich red-blood cells, removing lactic acid and possibly even stimulating mitochondrial biogenesis and stem-cell production." This is clearly prohibited M1!! That's explains Djokovic unnatural winnings 4 Slams etc. Before 2011 he won 1 Slam!
I remember staying up late to watch this match in '09. Those first 4 sets were incredible. They played each point as if it were match point. Unfortunately, Federer just ran out of gas in the 5th set, and Nadal closed it out fairly comfortably. Still, I would consider that match their 2nd best ever played (behind their Wimbledon final, which may be the greatest match in the history of tennis).
@sandman1008 Oh, and then the Arizona Cardinals played the Pittsburgh Steelers later that day in a great Super Bowl. Overall, it was a glorious day for sports
i wish federer and nadal were the same age. these matches would be way better because i just think that nadal outlasted federer in this and in wimbledon.
@iluvducks1234 I don't think that would make too large of a difference. Nadal is ridiculously fit. Even if Federer was younger and therefore more fit, Nadal would still be the more fit of the two. Not saying Fed is lacking in stamina, it's just that Nadal never seems to tire.
Federer was unbelievably inefficient in this match. It seems like he had break points in almost every one of Nadal's service games and still couldn't close the deal even at Love-40. Fed lost 6-2 in the fifth and STILL had more total points in this match. It is incredible that since then he has won three more GS titles because most players wouldn't have recovered from this loss.

@iluvducks1234 Considering Nadal had played a 5 setter previously he was probably just as tired.
