I grew up in the 70s lots of old early Metal . It was also the time when Christian contemporary started up . Lots of folks freaked out at some of the bands . Rock and Jesus ? No way . But God made all music for His Glory and purpose . If it up lifts the name of Jesus and brings glory to God . Yep Hardcore and all.
Been a fan since 1993. I think its really cool that Becoming The Archtype named their first album after a Mortification song (Terminate Damnation)! So if you like these guys then check them out too!

I am currently working on accepting Christ into my heart again as my personal Saviour. I have been an avid fan of black metal for almost 20 years. Satan is not my god. @TemperRatedShotZz Well I'm an old Musican . Played everything From Country Rock to Blues to Metal and Punk . Music is a form of comunication to say diffrant peaples and tribes . I grew up in the 70s lots of old early Metal . It was also the time when Christian contemporary started up . Lots of folks freaked out at some of the bands . Rock and Jesus ? No way . But God made all music for His Glory and purpose . If it up lifts the name of Jesus and brings glory to God . Yep Hardcore and all.

it's so nice seeing all you christian death metal fans here... sometimes it's hard to go listen to Morbit Angel and so, which I do like, because it's satanic... but if you do not look at the symbols and ignore the lyrics and your faith is in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit only, you'll learn to block them all out. Just listen to Metal all you want!

It can be used to worship Satan if you follow that path, yes, but I chose a different path, that path of righteousness.

In my view, worshiping him will only bring pain, so why would you do something that will guarantee pain? Its logical to avoid pain. Worshiping Jesus will grant you eternal life so why isn't that the first choice?
If you converted to a satanist then you would loose your place in Heaven, I'm not sure I understand the point you're trying to make.

@TheLordFenris I love both Christian and Black metal. I do not judge a band by their religion or lack of religion, but by their music. That is what matters. And if someone loves Jesus, accept it. There are people who love and worship Satan. And there are people who love and worship nothing.

Follow bands like "Wormed" where each and every song is based around science. the song "Geodesic Dome" is a great example.

EVERYONE will be given somehting according to their works. if they are forgiven by recieving Christ, then it will be eternal life and every negative thing that has happened to them will be avenged. If you dont accept Jesus, then you will recieve eternal death, which is basically the opposite of exsitance, means you will forever cease to exist. you will not be poked in the rear end by demons while satan laughs at you.
