Later in the story, Lady Mary (Joan Greenwood) proves to be quite capable of living under primitive conditions and pulling her own weight -- sewing clothes, washing, and keeping the cave tidy. She also tells Mr. Spillet that she could probably out-ride, out-shoot, and out-drink him.

Stop-motion IS a form of animation. It just uses three-dimensional articulated models or puppets instead of drawings.
