Too many people are not educated enough in animal ecology to be trying to raise animals like tigers. Tigers roamed in wide ranges in Asia before human dominated the world, cutting them off from one another.

Breeding "pure South China tigers" is to try to GENETICALLY interbreed that already-highly-isolated, dying group of a few tigers into extinction.

Large range & safe corridors are what tigers need in Asia, NOT an isolated breeding program of a few tigers, initiated by humans as pet projects.
