  • The chap on Spode's left side is trying so hard not to laugh!

  • I want to be a member of the Drones club!!

  • No matter how many times I re-watch this series, the Black Shorts will ALWAYS remain funny.

    Thanks much, wolfxbloed.

  • I know what's going to happen in the next part... And i'm cringing already :D

  • How come the playlists now play in reverse order?

  • deja-vu @ 7.02 (not a criticism just an observation)

    :)

  • Hail Spode!

  • @2:40 : The ''Heil Spode'' is kind of creepy. A muted but confident "Heil", and a heavily accented one I must add.

  • @wolfxbloed can you refer me to some online versions of some more of the books? i'd love that, if you could. xx x

  • @wolfxbloed Thank you Thank you.....still watching and still enjoying! :)

  • are they nazis?

  • @Frequency95 Not Nazi's but Fascists, during the 20's and 30's, there where many fascist orginaizations, accross Europe, including Britain, that where like the Nazi's, or imitated them. PG Woodhouse, sort to make fun of such orgianizations, such as Mosely and his "Black Shirts" in Britain, so they are caricatured as "Black Shorts" in his books.

Most sorry to say the problem is on again. My sincere condolences to Norwegians, those valiant and hospitable people.

  • @katerinazhilina The problem is, that as not that long ago been proved, such people, do these terrible deeds, to get noticed, and the more oxygen, you give them, the more they suceed. It's very sad something of this nature should happen in any country. I'm sure a great many people share your sentiment, in this troubling, and horrific time for Norway.

  • My laptop is currently being fussy and not playing my DVDs. You are an angel for uploading these, as far as I'm concerned!

  • I wonder who these black shorts are designed after?

  • why did they change it so much? season 1's dahlia and berties voice were way better

  • I'm at college, away from my beloved Jeeves and Wooster DVD set, and these uploads are a real comfort. They're also probably the reason why I considered writing my last critical essay on "the poet Nash."

  • @SpreadingThinner i can now totally empathise with the comfort thing now that I've started uni. Jeeves and Wooster always cheer me up :)

  • Excellent job on uploading the episodes. I always loved the books and I am pleasantly surprised to find out that the shows were not half bad.

    Cheers

  • "Cat's night-wear." I love that.

  • NO!! Aunt Dahlia isn't the same! And neither is Madeline. She doesn't even have the same hair colour.

  • Oh how attractive Bertie looks wearing those leather gloves...

  • Thanks for uploading Jeeves & Wooster series! Truly enjoyable. Fry and Laurie are the best!

  • This is an impeccable combination of wonderful writing, perfect casting, darn good acting and above all, fantastic making. I wonder how it was possible to put all these good things together in one show.

  • 8:06 -- the Royal Opera Arcade in London

  • I love the "effect" around 5:20 Two characters are facing each other, talking, but you can see both from the front :D

  • i also like and love this story. first of all i had known this comedy in japanese nobel. since then i am buying this book through amazon. i really enjoy this nice story in you tube(^^)

  • @yunghoiruu If you would like I can refer you to some online versions of some more of the books, if you are interested.

  • All your comments are from a year ago! I want to let you know we are still loving your posts and appreciating the wonder of this show

  • @jendcates Thank you dear.

  • All your comments are from a year ago! I want to let you know we are still loving your posts and appreciating the wonder of this show. For me the best part is the "what do the idle rich do in their clubs" scenes :-) Lots of love for all these posts.

  • thanks soo much for uploading this, I have the box set but i'm missing S2, 1-3

  • Somebody missed the "Like" button.

  • @ wolfxbloed THANKS FOR POSTING!!!!!!!

  • 3:20 yes....yes.. very possibly XD

  • i love how bertie thinks he's won....silly bunny

  • Ah, this is one of my favorite J&W episodes. Roderick Spode is such a brilliant character. But I miss Dahlia from season 1!

  • My family actually bought a cow creamer because of this episode. I am sure it is going to be hellishly fought over by me and my sisters when my mother dies. haha

  • @siriushpfan unless it gets stolen by an upperlcass twit....

  • why have they changed the actresses for Aunt Dahlia and Madeleine??

  • "Now, run along and sneer". What a drab age we live in when one is not thus implored for the sake of familial harmony.

  • lolz, the domestic hygiene remark is hilarious.

  • "Here's a shilling. Don't spend it on drink."

One of my favourite Sir Watkyn Bassett lines.

  • 'Ask them to show it to you and register scorn!' LOL Aunt Deliah "Now run along and sneer!" Poor Bertie

  • I adore Jeeves the books albit a bit colorful in language always made me laugh. Glad to see it getting proper attension on Youtube! Bravo!

  • I'd think it would be confusing having your aunts constantly change.

  • Comming from families of 12 siblings and all my children marrying large families, there are many aunts!

  • I like aunt Dahlia. She is nice to Jeeves.

  • Why does Hugh Laurie change his voice tone from season 1 to 2. I liked season 1. It was normal and more endearing. Mainly because it was less nasally and annoying. Still, at least jeeves is the same. luvs the both of them

  • @Theta101 you;re right... his voice grates on the ear

  • aw, i miss the aunt dahlia in the 1st season

  • I know, she's the best. There's a different one every season. This one is DEFINETLY my least favourite.

  • and also: does angela just disappear? or does she appear in the later series? i forgot...

  • l'm almost ceratin Angela just sortof disappears. Could be wrong, but I think she's done.

  • tuppy comes back, though, right?

  • He's periodically there through to the last episode, yes. That I'm sure of. :)

Also, same actor all the way through with Tuppy :D

  • that's why tuppy rocks!

  • " The Dutch, sir, while an admirable people in many ways, and renowned for their domestic hygiene.. "

    *chuckles, being Dutch and all*

  • is your domestic hygiene pretty awesome?

  • Well, mine kicks ass anyway :-)
