I just can't understand why the Republican Party won't realize that their future is in the political middle, and not in the far right of the social value scale. Young people are growing up to become less and less xenophobic and homophobic, so just pure electoral math should convince them at least, if their moral compass won't.

The problem with this strategy of suing your chief opponent is that 1) people don't like when candidates throw mud balls and 2) It doesn't advance his credentials even if it actually takes away from Romney, and baring something extremely unlikely, it wont.

Mitt Romney is currently funded and supported by Mel Sembler, former Ambassador to Italy under GW Bush. Sembler was the primary funding source for GW Bush and Dick Cheney as well. If Mitt Romney gets elected president...it will be like a Bush administration family reunion in the White House...

As someone who was raised Mormon, I usually find a lack of honesty among wealthy Mormons in issues like this. Kind of like the way the church is against gambling, drinking and strippers and yet the church members have major holidngs in Las Vegas casinos (from which they pay 10% to the church).
