What was it about Trashcan man that stays with us? I think there can be an argument made that he was working for the side of good all along. As conflicted as he was about the things he did. "My life for you", who really was he speaking to when he said that? Was it Randall Flag or did Trashy just see his destiny in giving his life to destroy Flag? He could of meant in his delusional state that he was giving his life to kill Flag. Like to ask King about that at a book signing or something.

The humming sound of an electric motor came to Larry's earsand again he caught that name tossed from mouth to mouth, never all of one piece: Man . . . Can Man . . . Trash . . .
Someone was coming through the crowd, as if in answer to the dark mans challenge.
What sort of an idiot brings a thermonuclear bomb right to your doorstep as a 'present'? Trashcan Man, that's who! Geez, and I thought he was an asshole for burning up old Mrs Semple's pension cheque! :) Seriously... great tribute to a fantastic character! "My life for yooouuu!"
