  • hi!! ur so pretty

  • for a 'beginner', what's the best weight (dumbell)? and how many times do you need to do it?

  • why do you slam your foot on the floor?

  • Porn.

  • In terms of fat-burning and cardio, how does the clean compare to the snatch?

  • Thanks for posting this video, it helped me a lot.

But, I got a question: Can I do this exercise with a Dumbell?

  • @fit286 Yes

  • @kbellqueen

    Ok, thanks for answering.

  • cool

  • Thumbs up

I can see this exercise to be very usefull for martial artists. Good for balance, and - since it is not symmetric - also good for injury prevention.

    Thanks for showing

take care and have a nice day

    silk

    ;-))

  • Thanks for posting, was looking for a video which showed correct form, thanks. By the way, what's the song playing at the start and end?

  • @christurkthebrave You are welcome. It's called "zero" from Intrinzik.

  • People can BB snatch over 400lbs. On the other hand a 200lb one hand KB snatch would put a lot of stress on your wrist. I'm not sure which would recruit more muscle fibers - KB or heavier weights with a BB. Not that one is better than the other - they are different and its good to use different modalities.

  • what's the name of the song used?

  • For people who havent used kettlebells, USE THEM. They are truly an amazing workout, loads of full body exercises to build functional strength.

  • @TheAmazingOti Yes but they dont match the physics of kettlebell training. The whole point of kettlebell training is that the weight is offset from the handle so the centre of gravity is shifted. This in turn causes a wider array of muscles employed whilst exercising.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAmazingOti Well thats your opinion. Maybe one day you'll realise their potential. I know i did. They were built for athletes.

  • @TheAmazingOti You are totally correct in that, some of the same exercises can be performed using a dumbell e.g. swings, squats, presses. However, the important difference between these tools is that dumbells and barbells are static weights whilst kettlebells are dynamic. Thus the kettlebell will attempt to move with gravity as you snatch it or clean it and you must exert more force and recruit more muscle fibres to stabilise the bell. It is something you really have to try to get to grips with.

  • @unbounddreams ya it takes more strength to move the same weight so you are workout harder but thats why barbells you use more weight. so your comment is irrelevant

  • Comment removed

  • @AdangerousRETARD except that the kettlebell requires you to use more of your muscles to stabilise the kb even once you have gotten it into overheard position or whatever because of its design whereas a dumbell dosen't irrelevant of how heavy it is, its still a static weight

  • @unbounddreams that extra weight that you use for barbell/dumbbells makes you "use more muscles" to stabilize the weight. kettlebells work but they are still a fad

  • she has amazing abs and a very impressive body!

  • my balance...not so great..neither is my left knee

    should i even do these?

  • why must you "STOMP!" your feet prior to lifting??

  • I imagine the stomp is to remind you to keep your weight over the entire foot. BTW, this is an awesome exercise, belongs to a family called "close chain exercises." Functional.

  • to tell your nervous system to use your glutes and hams not low back

  • Your too damn hot!!

  • Great pants

  • Hail to the Queen!

  • No, you're supposed to look straight ahead in a regular deadlift.

  • Very Nice! something new for me.

    Thanks!

  • This exercise is great - just keep in mind that it can be done with dumbells as well. You just need to reach further to grab them off the floor and use flat-surfaced dumbells that don't roll. Kettlebells are expensive compared to dumbells of the same weight and if you're not going to do snatches/swings/cleans etc. there's no point in buying them.

  • @ideveloper1 I always stand on a raised surface when I deadlift, to get a good stretch

  • Beautiful Girl

    Beautiful exercise

    Beautiful blue pants haha

  • omg, you're HOT

  • Great exercise, thanks for sharing. It's much harder than it looks. I've been trying to get it down for the last 2 weeks with 2 KBs and I have to put my foot down every couple of reps or so.

  • this woman is beautiful!

  • I disagree, but to each his own. For me it's more cardio and weight lifting... I hate running and riding the bike so it works for me. I've lost a good amount of fat using them. She's damn hot!!! I'm sorry. but she is smooth man! Do you see her ab muscles flex when she breathes!!!!! Girl you do great work!!!

  • I am considering buying kettlebells but need more information on their benefits, esp. as compared to dumbells and barbells. Also, if they develop so much strength, how come I see people using mostly kb's under 100 pounds? Exactly how are they better than regular weights?

  • It's difficult to describe, but a kettlebell feels a lot heavier than it is. It's difficult to explain, but the first time you use one you will understand.

  • Makes me want to go out and try one. But it seems sensible given the shape and design of the kb's, maybe even the fact that they are single, solid, weighted units without moving peices. Plus, I guess the handles and shape might make you use more support muscles to handle the weight. I'll have to try and see. Anyway, I like how cool and sinister the black ones look, sort of menacing.

  • The types of exercises in particular force you to recruit more muscles than typical dumbbell and barbell exercises do. It's a fantastic all-over workout and is very satisfying!

  • The advantage of kettlebells comes through when doing repeat ballistic movements. Look for videos on the snatch, clean, pull and swing to start. Those alone will kick your conditioning and functional strength to a new level.

  • Im sorry but I just dont see what advantages kettle bells offer over standard weight training equipment - dumbbell and barbell exercises are easy to learn, far more forgiving of imperfect form and you can progressively add weight. Im not saying that KBs are crap - Im merely suggesting that the time and effort taken learning to use them correctly and the risk of injury ultimately outweighs any special benefits they offer

  • The main advantage of using kettlebells is that you can really improve your conditioning and build a lot of strength, believe it or not. Generally kettlebells are not used for curls and other crap like that, doing things like swings, snatches, clean & presses, etc. are really were the kettlebell excels. The best thing I ever did was purchasing my first bell, no exaggeration there.

  • She is a TOTAL Hottiee!!!!

  • This ckick is hot - great abs.

  • kettlebells are cool..where can you find them??

  • Really those look nice to work with.

    Thanks for the clear video!

  • i love these...as a chick with an already sizeable rear, they have made it bigger...but you could bounce a quarter off it. if women only knew how amazing kettlebells were!

  • Can I get your number?

  • Hey this is a really cool exercise. I tried it and was really pleased what id did for me. I bicycle alot and immediately noticed more power in my legs.

  • wow you got the perfect body !!

i wish i had a body like that...

  • wow you got the perfect body !!

i wish i had a body like that...

  • Great submission, what are the recommended reps and sets? This does not seem to be an exercise for endurance and fat burning but for strengthening a targeted area.

  • Using 2 kettlebells I like to keep the reps between 5 and 8 per leg. If I can do many more comfortably it's time to go up in weight. As far as sets go anywhere between 3 and 5 are good. Hope this helps!

  • @kbellqueen you dont no not ing

  • This exercise burns a lot more Calories than it looks like. I tend to use a barbell, but with the correct weight, you will normally be able to max your heart rate out on this exercise with a set of 10 or 12. So not only is this a great exercise in the low rep ranges, it's also useful for conditioning in the higher rep ranges.

  • I love doing suitcase deads with my bells, they're a nice antagonistic movement to frame squats with, but I always do them with both feet planted. Gonna work some of these one leggers in.

    Nice vid.
