  • He looks fat.

  • Brilliant!

  • so should be the sky sports advert

  • I love football but this is hilarious

  • I wish they would do this to American football.

  • Watch it! Watch it! Watch the football! Watch it! IT'S GONNA MOVE!!!

  • Legendary stuff...almost as legendary as Chris Kamara....almost...

  • He looks like Nick Clegg in this video.

  • does anyone have a video of the original advert?

  • What ground is this at?

  • This really should be the sky advert, even if it does take the piss out of them.

  • lol you can so tell Mitchell hates football

  • he has lost weight cos he is fat in this sketch

  • "There is still everything to play for, and forever to play it in." It captures the endless, futile drama perfectly.

  • how long can he speak 4

  • @niraj577 lol i thought that :P

  • Can anyone tell me what the official ad was? I'm struggling to find it on youtube. Link it if you can.

  • This is funny & he has a point, but football is awesome!

  • "...in a match already being decribed as on this Sunday..." Mitchell rocks!!!

  • @poomplexsoljah how is he posh? he's english but extremely un-posh. In fact the whole point of this sketch is he's acting like one of the sky sports gorillas.

  • @Highstar25

I think he is just talking about David Mitchell in general. Doesn't make what he said any less childish and revolting but still.

  • it will never be decided who has WON the football xD

  • ITS GONNA MOVE

  • watch it watch it its going to move

  • Great!! This is how exciting football can be, ahhahahah

  • @juanitomp I dunno, I got the impression that the idea behind the sketch was to highlight how idiotic the Sky adverts (and football, possibly) are. He uses some adjectives at the end of some sentences which bring that through for me.

  • @polyfusion you are completely right, my comment was full of irony :-)

David Mitchell (and me) dislike football a lot, so that's where it comes from.

  • On This Sunday!

  • there are old scores to be settled like 1-0 and 2-2!

  • this is amazing :)!

  • I love that line "There is everything to play for, and forever to play it in" It's so true it's scary, but I'll still be watching it for the rest of my life....I wonder if it is decided by then "Who has won the football??!!??"

  • @PowaShammy

    USA WON FIFA

  • sorry i wasn't listening. Did he say "football"?
