Movie was so good. The beginning is kinda slow, but your heart starts pumping throughout the rest of the movie. The character development in this movie was so great, I even felt emotions towards most of the characters because of the omniscient story telling. Towards the latter half of the movie, action scenes were beautiful. I watched it on Netflix, and the only problem I had was the English Dub. I'm not a Japanese movie lover, but I clearly enjoyed this film. Planning to watch it again! 4.5/5

This movie is so badass, and no the special effects arnt cheesey, the style of the film is sort of real life anime if that makes any sense....kind of like 300.

Guys this movie is not for everyone. if you like the type of movie and you are a fan of japanese stories i can tell you it will blow you away. other than otehr ppl who love silvester stalone and avatar movie types realy have nothing to see here. this movie is a diferent type of action movie.

Don't worry, if you know the director you know he loves killing off his characters. I was like "meh" when it happened in Goemon.

@gitabad Goemon 2 ?? what do you think this is ?? Ninja Gaiden ?? this is the story of Ishikawa Goemon , He was killed in front of people. He didnt died like he did in the movie. He was burnt alive with his son. In the movie the one that dies like tha its his friend. I guess that would of been a messed up ending for thats how he died in real life. He was executed in front of people. He was burnt in a pot of hot oil.
