well my litters only had nine(5-9 is the average litter) the first one we really weren't experienced so most died but the second litter we had nine born and 0 deaths so on the second litter we would take them to a open area lay the mom down then play with have five somewhere else playing with dad then the five would suckle and after a few minutes when they stopped we switched them out

Momma is a excellent momma... even now when pups are almost 8 weeks old she demands to go in and nurse the pups! She is a fantasitc momma ~ this was her first litter too!!!

She most definately fits her name of "Beauty"
