i think it's a very good video because it portrays something alot of people dont know. Its not about how much horsepwer, it' about the power to weight ratio. Also, alot is the transmission too, because on the last drag the oly reason the mustang started to pull away is because the quad topped out.

First, 5.0 doesn't mean 500ci. Second, beating a 5.0L mustang isn't a huge feat. They only make like 175hp lol. I'm pretty sure i could hold one off in my F150 to 70.

The 500 cc (not ci) was in regards to the honda quad... The 5.0 is a 302 (more like 299) ci and the quad is a 500 cc. haha Yeah towards the end of the foxbody's lifes old mother emissions was robbing them of all of thier glory. My buddys '86 was hopped up and pumping 320 horses, that thing was a hell of a ride

a stock 5.0 302 motor makes alot more than 175 hp. in my truck which has the same motor that was put in mustangs when ti was built makes just over 250 hp factory. plus beating most cars or trucks on the road isnt hard. hell i do it with a stock yamaha warrior 350. even beat a turboed car with ease in a 1/4 mile somehow.

Stang is like 3200 pounds with a 260hp engine, quad is like 370 pounds with prob 50 hp motor. Power:Weight is better in quad. It's going to have to push more than 400 to get better P:W ratio. Need at least a tuned ls2
