  • so what is its out put, what is it ment to do?

  • How the displacer is made?

  • what is the foil inside the cylinder?

  • what is the fluid u have used inside the cylinder??

  • @parimalthirteen Fluid?? It's hot air

  • Alvarez Jr...what ever you do, DON'T BURN THE HOUSE DOWN....LOL

  • @t2t3456

hahaha don´t worry. All was under control!! :D

  • try making the flywheel out of a reader whell out of a vcr

  • @ace7279ify Thanks for the suggestion

  • what the purpose of this machine

  • @ThePioneerPyro Sorry, it only serves to experiment.

Gracias.

  • how much did the brass for the piston cost

  • One rod of brass may cost 50 euro. But you can build arround 45 pistons. Because each rod measures 900mm (in my case)

  • what did you use as a piston and how did you make it? and how much does the flywheel weigh? thanks for the help.

  • The piston was made of brass, and I think that the flywheel is too heavy. I dont know the weigh exactly

  • very cool thermoacoustic motor...

  • Thanks SWINGREGORY ,

Its is only a prototype, i think that it is very inefficient, so i must to improve it. have you got any idea to increase the rpm?

  • decrease some weight of the flywheel..use bearings...

  • @dgalvarez im in a similar sittuation my prototype runs and runs well but not very high rpm but i think i know how to increase it , IF you tune the engine to run without a flywheel untill you get high speed oscillations you then need to measure its stroke and set your flywheel cam to match also use a light flywheel this should then get the flywheel to run at the oscillation speed , i will be testing this next , I also used a graphite piston on a glass liner which has alot less drag
