I think since 1976 churches have become more secular friendly in how they attract congregation. I really fail to see why chruches need rock bands and flashing lights to deliever the gospel, but then i am getting old lol

And Zato just makes his way, steady as he goes, until some desperate bandits plundering the bodies attack him. As his cane sword flashes various important producer's and director's credits are emphasized. Now THAT would be a great opening for a Zatoichi movie . . .

I seen this movie when i was 5 yrs old one afternoon at an Assemblies of God church in 74,it disturbed me long after,especially the dam scene betrayal and Patty's infernal screams when she wakes up to her reality,the song has bleak chords and is as haunting as a funeral drrum,it was an alternative message back then and no matter how badly acted they hit home the point by doing this,It can be found in the 1001 cult movies book.

Hi,yeah i saw the sequel later as a teenager where they have to get beheaded, it was even more grim, but there were some more humorous moments to ,like ignoring some laws,who cares, they were on the lamb from Unite and didn't care anymore,i love Grandma's house,that was sad,but that song it haunted me so bad i recorded my own version of it on cd,I guess i'm Patty though spiritually, a little skeptical, i should know better,my mom and dad are christians,but what a movie,YIKES
did ya watch the movie, its old but the story is simple and has the most important message of all ! Yes Tali praise God we have taken Jesus as our personal saviour :-)

Tali, If you haven't seen this series, you should make a point to see them. There are 4 movies in the set, solid Scripture teachings. They are a little dated, but not to the point of being ineffective.
