Free our republic from rule by the elite. Democracy is possible but only with election reform. The currect election process FOOLS us and leaves our democracy vulnerable to the Hijackers. Shhhhh when the time is right, we will pass an Amendment and institute True Representation. TheBalancedRepublic
I beleive in a world of free association and open borders and the abolition of all militaries and multinational corporations along with the governments that give them thier power and ability to exploit. Yes, the NWO would be good as long as it doesn't have any political power and is a voluntary association of free people of all races, creeds and religions.
Perhaps Walter Cronkite was trying to expose them in his last days. Good Point. But anyone who advocates world government, such as yourself, does not understand the dangers of centralized power. Isn't the bloody 20th Century enough proof of this or are people like you going to use it as an example of the need for world government. Any world government might be able to enforce "peace" but of course anything forced is not peace, Political power in the hands of a few is dangerous.
Isn't Walter Cronkite a member of the World Federalist Association that openly advocate World Government? Cronkite himself has advocated for a strengthened United Nations and World Court that would naturally destroy not only democracy but national sovereignty aswell.
PS: The United States of America was founded as a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.

World Federalist Assoc advocates World Govt --- Federalist means "federation" or union of separate political orgs (states) for common interests. World Gov is many decades old International Monetary Fund World Bank Bank of International Settlements G20 World Trade Org United Nations NATO International Court of Justice World Health Org etc Pentagon wants a G20 military peacekeeping force. Thomas Barnett, Pentagon's New Map Will World Gov permit democratic input, or totalitarian-corporate?
Wrong. World government is not inevitable, especially to those who love freedom and understand the dangers of centralized power and the evils of socialism.
You should realize it is the power of government that brings about war and if a world government had a monopoly on force to bring about "peace" it could also bring about tyranny on a global level.
Well it really does not have to do with what you or me think it would be great but with reality and the facts Michiu Kaku talks about the changes in the future, like Kings and emperors lost their absolute power, in the future so will single country governments. This does not mean an empire, you could picture this as the states in US every state has their own governor and laws, with a central government.
Great subject for discussion - before it's too late.
And where are the Walter Cronkites when you need them? Especially at CBS, which recent selective editing events show whose pocket they are in (McSame's).

You can research it on youtube, watch his speech to the World Federalist Association, he was advocating giving up United States national sovereignty.

The world government is inevitable.
Scenario one: Everyone on earth stop fighing and become united as one.
Scenario two: US and England conquer the world and become united as one.
