You don't have to use your gaming PC for just gaming, computers can be used for much more. Programming, picture editing, video editing, Facebook, Omegle, etc etc. A gaming PC is just a PC with a little more "bang". A Mac is for media, and socializing; it's why there are few good games on it (portal is on it). Computers don't have to be just for games.

@psychonavigator yeah I understand how the airflow in a system should be just fine, just confused over how people use the terms. It could be thought of either way. I thought "pull" because the other end of the cooler is closer to the exhaust, so naturally I would think to refer to the fan as being in a pull configuration as it's on the side nearest to the intake.

I wasn't aware that the cooler would blow through the heatsink though because I'm used to older coolers with the fan above the cpu.

@zedd56 I'm going to assume that your understanding of what push/pull is, is backwards. A single fan mounted on the side of a heatsink like that is mounted so that it pushes air into the heat sink and flows towards the back of the case. The exhaust fan in turn continues pushing the air outside effectively creating a slight additional pull due to being inline with the CPU fan.

um..........is that CPU cooler equipped with two fans in push/pull or is that one fan actually blowing air in the opposite direction as the rear exhaust................ or is it only pull? I don't think I've ever seen that before!

@zedd56 It's pushing. Fairly standard for that style cooler, go look at a Coolermaster Hyper 212 or 612 PWM. It does come with brackets to allow for a second fan, but that is entirely optional. For the most part the fan in the back of the case will assist with the directional airlflow just fine.

@30stmKhalid47 Are you on drugs? The current graphics capability of the 360 and PS3 compares roughy on par with graphics cards made 5 -7 years ago. The next get gen graphics for the ps4 are slated to be on par with the Radeon HD5770, a card that was in its' prime two years ago.

For reference, an x1900 scores about 700 points on a benchmark test where the average moder gaming card scores roughly 3000. Factor in that the chip in a console is not even capable of directx 10 or 11 graphics as a PC is. Consoles just don't compare, they are so far behind PC on so many levels.
