Actually there are documents of minor kurdish kingdoms that arose after fall of the hurrian's in anatolia, and recorded history like xenophon etc, etc. And through out history there has been presence of kingdoms or minor independent provinces. Acutally we are known throughout middle-east as stateless, but you are not recoqnized at all other then being a bunch of christians living here and there, equally stateless.
