the pool doctor dent remover can be replaced by a 1 dollar piece of glass you can get at a dollar store. Thats what i use and it works perfectly.

@PestVic i posted that comment when i first started dealing with shaft nicks. This is actually a bad thing to do to your shaft because what you are doing is flattening the dent, so you end up with a flat part on your shaft, which is bad. If you dented your shaft , without chipping the wood, you can lift the dent by putting a damp piece of toilet paper or paper towel over the dent. But to make it 100% normal, you need 2000 grit sandpaper to completely take the dent out.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a gadget fan myself, and I think it helps when explaining if they work or not, especially when they are new ones.
