  • My x mini happy speaker suddenly turns itself off please help

  • the xmini 2 is better

  • I've got something similar to that and i really do not like the sound quality they produce. Needs more bass

  • dang card reader dont need no ipod/mp3 player now!!

  • Good sound

  • is this the same as Music bullet?

  • @CaledUlto ALOT BETTER.

  • how do i turn down the volume if im using the sd card

  • @armkenz1 you hold the next or previous track button to chang volume

  • i broke mine

  • i would kill for one of this :P :)

  • Are you stupid? you didn't demonstrate the most important feature that makes this speaker different from all the others-- the memory card functionality... what a terrible video.

  • What is Better, X mini Happy, or X mini II ??

  • £12.99 now xD Bargain!

  • how long does the battery last?

  • put some death metal, dude

  • im listening to this video through my x-mini v1.1 :D

  • thats the song from the first gen macbook air

  • type "x-mini killer" int he search box and watch the first or second video.

  • Haha,I live on Guam and I only got mine for 60!I thought it'll cost more because it takes long to ship.

  • @RussianTaco1 i got mine at i&e for 65 dooooooooooollars..sucks i wasted my five bucks

  • You forgot to use the sd card sounds... Too bad

  • what is the song?

  • @44karter Yael Naim, New Soul.

  • @davomrmac thanks

  • @davomrmac love this song

  • Nice review and the SD card reader is a brilliant addition.

I noticed that you showed the "play/pause/fwd-rvs track" functions. Do they control audio files from the SD card or from the external device. It would be an extra added plus if you're able to play files from the SD card, thus eliminating the need to connect a cell phone/media player.

  • @Footylala The functions you mention do indeed control audio files read from the SD card. When you use the X-Mini Happy as an external speakes, the functions do not work as with an SD Card, and you must use the controls of the device (iPod, Mp3 Player).

  • is there any difference btwn these and the x-mini II??i mean like is the sound better or not?

  • @avetik32 From what I have read (I currently own a X-Mini Happy), the audio technology included in the "Happy" model has improved since the X-Mini II.

  • So how much lowder is it comparing to X-mini 2 and X-mini 2 max?

  • wow this stuff is cool really expand great review

  • @TechnomTigerGeek Thanks.

  • can an this replace your desk speakers and still have the same quality?

  • @billrose12345 Not really.

  • WOW. I have the normal black ones with the red drivers but THAT is just amazing

  • @Appleaddict22 The red ones are just as loud. I don't think the addition of a card reader makes it that much more amazing. These are great speakers though. I'm fully impressed with mine.

  • @blackbeltbeatdown Thanks for adding this.

  • A colleague of mine has the non-card reader version and I cannot believe the sound quality and volume of this little thing. Absolute quality!

  • @thehubbucks Thanks for watching.

  • @maraxani I know, they all do that.

  • Looks great - awesome review :)

  • @thetechnoexpert Cheers.

  • true apple fan, yael naim new soul on ipod touch. the one song used in many macbook advertisments, i believe. good stuff.

  • @everythingmac123 Well spotted.

  • Hi Dave,Just watching this video and i thought to myself ahhh great a new portable speaker for my Iphone 4,Just what i need for listening to my tue's while i work,Getting a little sick of wearing headphone's & earbuds,I like the over all feature's,Being able to just insert anSD card like that i think is a genious idea,oh and you can use it as a card reader, how cool is that,Awesome, then at the end you told me the price,WoW man that is steap for what it is,Slightly dissapointed at that :(

  • @pimpyouriphone3g I missed something too, you can play music from the SD card!

  • I own this speaker :)

  • can u send me a free beats by dre headphone i want to rewieve personal message saying yes and i will give my contact details

  • its kinda dumb that it has an memory card slot but its not bluetooth enabled. id rather bluetooth than an sd card reader. most laptops now have a built in memory card eader built in anyway.

  • what song is tht what u was palying on the x mini

  • @oliverklossof Yael Naim, New Soul.

  • Can you give us a review of the Canon VIXIA HF S21?

  • @rmlred I will try, but unlikely.

  • Looks insane! Good review dave

  • @itsmemaverickblue Thanks.

  • @Samlui54321 maybe.

  • is it just me or was the speaker spinning slightly when the music was playing?

  • @c0ldb33r It is.

  • I have the old red X-mini and I have to say the sound quality is amazing and so loud for the size of it! This one seems even better!

  • Does it have Bluetooth?

  • do you think that tritton headsets are a waste of money?

  • @theipodist no, they are good, but I prefer the Astros.

  • @theipodist Astro A40's aren't a patch on Triton AX720 IMO

  • hmm its okay for the price

    should be a little louder

  • For that price I'd want it to play songs off the SD card! The addition of a memory card reader On it's own is not worth an extra £25 on top of the price of the brilliant X-mini 2

  • Oh man, if that SD card played MP3's that would be crazy.

  • nice speakers the sound quality is pretty good

  • @BritishTV2 Yael Naim - New Soul.

  • Wow

  • If you're in the market for a Portable speaker, definitely check out the Cygnett BassBall speaker. About AUS$40.00, about 20 pounds.

  • @technogunner Around £40 UK.

  • Its looks very nice a shame that you cant play music off the sd card though nice video anyways!

  • looks cool. i hope the battery is strong.

  • Great review! It would be cool if it would play at least MP3 files off the SD card.

  • @kyle82309 No you can't.

  • @davomrmac how much cost?

  • @davomrmac wait, if you cant play music off the sd card why does it have controls on the unit?

  • @davomrmac

Dave I'm pretty sure you've made a mistake in your review, the X-mini Happy is an MP3 player not just a speaker and card reader, it can play music from the SD Card slot.

Say's so on there website, and I've seen other people on youtube demoing this feature.

  • @AppScreencast Wow, I missed that, I even checked the website and missed it, doh!

  • @davomrmac

When I saw your video I was convinced it could play back mp3's, because of its media controls, I have the X-Mini 2 which doesn't have them buttons.

Maybe you can add an annotation to your video if you haven't already, noting it has MP3 playback lol.

Still a good video as always Dave, the sound quality of the X-mini speakers always surprises me, plus there great value, less than £15 for a Mini 2, great stocking filler I think.

  • @MrRomMaster Thanks.

  • that thing looks like a smoke grenate.

  • i want it

  • Nice looking speaker

  • @xsoulkidx Thanks for watching.
