Also, I think you under estimate his supporters. He also has a huge following in Florida due to him being born there and winning those national championships there. @sikesy7 - than have a bunch of people arguing every day trying to convince us that he's the second coming and if youre not sold on him you're just hating or that he sucks. A big reason for Tebows "unpopularity" is definitely his oversaturation in the media. You can start out being indifferent or even liking him and quickly get to the point where you wish that he'd just go away so all these people will stop talking about him and trying to capitalize on him like this dude is.

@sikesy7 If all that wasn't there I can guarantee you there would be a lot less animosity towards him, even though again it isn't his fault he's in this situation. Also, I think you under estimate his supporters. He also has a huge following in Florida due to him being born there and winning those national championships there. If the rest of the country hated him, ESPN wouldn't use him for the ratings grab they do now and he wouldn't be the face of national advertising champagnes. -

So to claim the country hates him is completely false, especially since he was voted (by the country) as the person you'd most like to have as a neighbor and all that. But, I get it, some people need to root for the underdog even if they aren't really an underdog and the need to use it to justify the lengths they go to in their support

@sikesy7 - coverage on ESPN than any other athlete and it's always bickering back and forth. Nobody forced me to watch this video, except when they showed this song multiple times through out of first and ten a show I watch every morning after their daily Tebow debate. Both sides need to cool it and just let this kid play. We'll see where he stands after, but I can tell you the oversaturation has likely led to more people hoping for Tebow to come up short than anything else.
