I'd love to have that much zoom but it's comparable to an Aiptek in pure video quality. It's just the Aipek I have only has 3x optical zoom (which sucks). Anyway, this Speed camera is something to think about.
I've recently bought this camera and results appear good on the LCD, but when I upload any HD footage to my laptop or home PC it becomes very jerky. Any ideas/suggestions?
few questions...1.) what is the video file format?...2.) what software did you use for editing?...3.) is the video file format compatible with Corel Video Studio Pro X2?, because I have a normal Kodak Digital camera with video mode and that format is mov and when I import the video from digital camera to Corel, the video itself is good, but the sound is crap. will this happen with this camera, once i imported the footage from this camera in HD?
I like this camera. With the 4gb card that came with it tend to get error if shooting at 1080. "format error" You can get this in US now for $149 plus tax at Walgreen under the name DXG. I regret ordering over seas.
@KwaiTerk REally?!?! Whats the name for this again? The DXG HD Camcorder or something like that? Im definately gonna go ask about it. I came across it on Ebay so im scouting it out on YouTube.
Hey, what editing software do you use, because I use sony vegas 9 pro, and I can't import the files. They play on Windows Media Player, but not quicktime as they apparently need to. I've imported .mov files into vegas before with no problem, so I think it may be the HD. My computer can play HD video, but on vegas it becomes about 2 f/ps with no audio.
Hello, i have the same cam, i tried a 1G SD memory and it works great but when I use a 16G SD memory, it says full memory or something like that, maybe you know why this happens? By the way, the first SD card is only SD and the other is SDHC, does this cam supports SDHC?
Can you plug in and mount an external mic on this?

This camcorder does have image stabilisation according to the specs.
1080p at 60FPS would be awsome, as it means you then have full 1080p slow motion, rather than 720p slow motion.
Also, how much recording time would one get out of a 16GB card at 1080p?

@KaneDWilliams i think it does have digital image stabilisation, but not optical like you'd expect from a Panasonic camera for example.
