K, so watching this killed me all over again, as Rob was my absolute favorite character on Ghostwriter back in the early 90's. I had such a huge crush on him. Also Hector was such an annoying addition to the team. Two things. One, it is generally said that Todd Alexander was fired from Ghostwriter because he appeared in something else, a type of promotion that the program did not approve, or that he did it without telling them first, which were both a breach of his contract.

Two, Rob somehow reminds me of Noah Wyle in ER, specially his earlier years, all awkward and shy and stuff :D

That could be, but I would disagree, because Jamal was the oldest in age, and Alex looked the oldest out of everyone, he grew really tall compare to when they started, and the girl they replace gabby with looked older than the original gabby, and they would know that everyone watching the show grows attach to certain characters. So it must've been other reasons.Gabby leaving didn't have much affect on me, cause she just wasn't in the last episode. But Rob wasn't in about 5 of them.

Someone called Rob "white boy" and he told Jamal it felt like an insult even if it was true. Jamal pointed out Rob was technically "a pink guy" and he was "brown" so it became an inside joke.

Gabby left the show, when??? I could have sworn she was still there in the final show, which from what I understand was the Goo Monster.

CreAce I'm not exactly sure, but what I think what happens is, that if they appear to look too much older, they are swapped out, which is what I think happened with Gaby, or some other reason could have occurred.

@iamghostwriter2 the old Gabby was younger looking than Jennifer Lopez. My guess is the kids choose to leave, at least in Gabby's case. Making her move like Rob would be tougher to sell because Alex & the parents would stay. Was Rob's dad kicked off the show too? Thats rotten if the parents are forced out when a kid leaves. Worse, if u're at all right about the age thing!!! Why can't they have an older member? It'd be kinda cool if the kids had an adult connection that knew about GhostWriter.

@iamghostwriter2 According to what i read on IMDB Todd Alexander was fired because of a violation of his contract... He tried to fight it but he loss. :( And Gaby left because she wanted to have a normal childhood I guess.
